Those looking to go fully digital with their next console might want to take a look at this rumored disc-less Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which could come with a custom Fortnite design.

According to a new report by WindowsCentral, Microsoft will be releasing a disc-less Xbox One S in May 2019.

This console will be called the ‘Xbox One S All-Digital Edition’ and according to the report, pre-orders will be available mid-April 2019.

Microsoft has been moving towards creating the Xbox name as a brand with things such as the Xbox Game Pass and even enabling Xbox Live for Minecraft on other platforms.

This will likely end up being the cheapest Xbox One you can find on the market, making it an excellent choice for digital games like Fortnite.

A custom Xbox One Fortnite console may be on the way.

The report also suggests Microsoft might be ready to announce a Fortnite Edition console that comes with its own custom design.

It’s not yet clear whether this will be a design on the disc-less version or on the Xbox One S or X.

Microsoft has offered Xbox One bundles with Fortnite in the past so this console does seem like a possibility.

All of this is still unconfirmed at this point so do take this information with a grain of salt.

The base Xbox One and Xbox One S are both beginning to show their age as newer games come out.

Both consoles struggle to hit consistent framerates and even a 1080p resolution in numerous games.

However, the Xbox One is still an excellent console for playing Fortnite which is why a custom-edition will be appealing to many potential buyers.
