The last wave of Fortbytes is washing up on the Fortnite island shores and we’ll be sad to see the daily challenges end. July 12 sends players looking for a Fortbyte in between a RV campsite, a gas stations, and a monstrous footprint.

We will remember Season 9 for many things, but Fortbytes are surely something that leave their mark on Fortnite. Presumably, Epic Game is cooking up similar daily challenges of Season 10 to drive player engagement.

While some Fortbyte challenges require unlocked Battle Pass items or the solving of puzzles, the latest one merely requires you to find it. Well, let’s get to it then!

Fortnite Fortbyte #23 Location

Every Fortbyte challenge has its own unique location or spin. No two Fortbyte are ever located in the same place. This can make the collection of all 100 a long and arduous task, but we’ve still had fun working our way to the Singularity skin and its hidden Styles.

For Fortbyte 23, you will be heading towards Pleasant Park and Loot Lake. Here’s the location marked on the Fortnite map:

Fortbyte 23 Location
  1. Hop into any Core BR mode or Team Rumble
  2. Jump out of the Battle Bus
  3. Glide towards Loot Lake/Pleasant Park
  4. Land on the mountain marked on the map above
  5. Loot the chest which spawns on top (optional)
  6. Pick up the Fortbyte on the southeastern edge of the peak
  7. Success!

And you’re done. Fortbytes can offer challenging objectives from time to time, but we’ll always be down for simple location based challenges too. We also captured a short video of the collection location for your convenience.

That’s it for July 12, but we’ve still got a few more guides to go before the end of Season 9. Remember, Season 9 will be extended for two weeks due Epic’s vacation and the Fortnite World Cup. This’ll give you extra time to complete Battle Pass & Fortbyte challenges.

We’re not going to complain about getting extra time to complete our passes. The delay will also give Epic the required time to plan a great Season 10 launch. Season 9 saw the addition of Neo Tilted and Mega Mall along with other big changes. What do you think next Season’s launch will bring to Fortnite?
