Fortnite already features a lot of customization options for players. Everything from back-bling to loading screens can be changed out, but our weapons could still use a bit of sprucing up.

Weapons in Fortnite remained barren of customization for the majority of Fortnite’s rise to greatness. Eventually, Epic decided to add ‘Wraps’ into the game, giving our weapons a splash of our own particular tastes.

However, the weapons could still use a little more in terms of custom content. A new community Fortnite concept deliver just that.

Kill your enemies with a Charm offensive

Reddit user ‘xConfessions’ had been playing some other games, taking a bit of break from Fortnite. While doing so, Rainbow Six Siege’s weapon charms caught their eye.

So, a new concept was born upon the FortniteBR subreddit.

[CONCEPT] Weapon Charms from r/FortNiteBR

The charms would be sold separately as items on the Fortnite Item Shop. Perhaps some of them could even be grouped into packages.

For example, a Christmas theme Charm package could include an evergreen tree, a Christmas bow, and a present.

The possibilities virtually endless as any little object with Fortnite could be turned into a charm.

When would players see these Charms?

Fortnite is not a First-Person Shooter like Rainbow Six Siege (or Call of Duty: WW2), but that doesn’t mean we don’t regularly see our weapons.

Almost every weapon in Fortnite is commonly ‘ADS’d’ or zoomed-in to get more accurate shots off. This is when the Charm would mainly come into view.

As the player zooms in their sights, the Charm could hang from the right side of each weapon.

For example, in the image above, the player is holding a regular AR. The weapon Charm would hang from directly above the magazine from some sort of hook or ring.

The exact location would have to be a little different for each weapon model due to differing lengths and holding positions. The concept would take a little bit of adjusting to get right, but with proper testing could be implemented successfully.
