It looks like more map changes are afoot in Fortnite Battle Royale, with the appearance of two more ‘Rift Beacons’ spotted on the map – but it looks like they’ve not reached their final destination.

So far in Season X, the Rift Beacons have been responsible for transforming locations such as Dusty Depot, Tilted Towers, Mega Mall and more.

Most recently, a beacon brought the return of Kevin the Cube, as Epic Games season-long plan to evolve the map is relentless, and two more beacons have now arrived.

Currently, both beacons can be found near Dusty Depot, but it’s almost certain that this isn’t where they will take effect, as this location has already undergone changes.

Instead, it appears that Dusty Depot is, in fact, the construction point for these beacons, and one is already being shipped out.

As spotted by Fortnite leaker FortTory, one of the two rift beacons is currently sitting on the back of a truck outside of the factory, but its final destination is unknown.

The other is still inside, suggesting that this is where all the beacons are originating, before being transported to a POI (point of interest) to make the map change.

Where exactly they will go and what they will do is also uncertain, but leaked game files have suggested that classic locations like Risky Reels and Anarchy Acres could be set to return at some point in Season 10.
