Epic Games dropped the curtain and fully revealed the Fortnite World Cup today. Members of the Fortnite community are ecstatic about the announcement.

The Fortnite World Cup has officially been revealed and it has the top-tier players in the game excited at the prospect to win a ton of money.

The qualifiers for the event begin April 13 and will run a little over a month until June 16.

Each weekly qualifier gives players a chance to earn some cash out of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

The top 100 Solo players and top 50 Duos will then go to New York City for the finals, where $30 million is up for grabs.

Many fans will first think of the pro Fortnite players but this event is open to all players around the globe.

Here’s a look at what they’ve been saying so far about the Fortnite World Cup. Some are a little wary at competitive Fortnite with the recent health changes Epic just made.

If you’re good at Fortnite you’ll have a chance to show your skill and compete in the qualifiers.

Fans will be able to be on site in New York City to watch the finals but Epic Games hasn’t shared how to do so just yet.
