Three more Season 9 Overtime challenges unlocked on July 26 and you can complete them while watching the Fortnite World Cup Finals in-game!
Overtime Challenges have become a mainstay in Fortnite and offer players some additional XP boosts to help them on their way at the end of the season. Epic also offers new Styles for select Season 9 skins if you complete the challenges.
As with previous Overtime tasks, these challenges are time-gated over the course of a week. The second set unlocked on July 26.
Second Set of Overtime Challenges now live
Overtime for Season 9 brings with it some exclusive rewards that cannot be unlocked after the end of season. Three new Overtime challenges are now available and offer a variety of rewards.
As usual, one of challenges requires the aid of a friend. While we’re sure you’ve got many friends, the FortniteBR subreddit has an active thread where you can find new friends fast.
You’ve got until August 1 to finish these challenges, so you’d better get moving. Remember, more challenges will unlock in 3 days time.
Don’t worry if the Fortnite World Cup Finals are your priority for the weekend. Epic has implemented a cool new Picture-in-Picture streaming option. This lets you watch the World Cup while playing Fortnite. Victory Royales might be a tad harder to get with your focus on Tfue & the boys, it’s great for completing challenges.
In addition to these, Battle Pass and Fortbyte challenges must also be completed before the end of Season 9. Basically what are we trying to say is…you’ve got a lot of work ahead of you.
Epic Games doesn’t want to leave you hanging and will grant Styles to those who complete Overtime. These are unlocked at three, six, and nine challenges completed. Images of the Styles are included below.
If you haven’t done so already, be sure to check out our coverage of the Fortnite World Cup Finals. We’ll be reporting on all results as the events roll on. Epic Games has even gone so far as to name it the ‘Greatest Tournament of All Time.’
