Build battles can be one of the toughest things to practice in Fortnite.
Players can practice their building skills in creative, but setting up a real game situation is difficult.
That is the problem this creative map is meant to fix.
Featuring all the loot one could ask for, and four different battlegrounds, the map is basically a tournament arena for build battles.
Each battleground comes with a scoreboard so players can count to whatever number they please as each build battle ends with a respawn.
The games start with an arch and then the build battle commences.
Check out a full tour of the map here:
This is the kind of tournament arena that Fortnite could benefit from including in the game. The Island Code for this map is 8321-8699-6639.
There has been a lot of talk about whether or not Fortnite should have a ranked playlist. The main thing stopping Epic is the challenge of how ranking up and down would actually work.
This could be a way to introduce a ranked playlist in a much more simple way. You could have the game take place on maps like this in solos, duos or squads and have each game be a best of five series.
This would help provide the builder’s playground that pro players love while leaving the main Fortnite game intact.
It could be an easy way to have the best of both worlds. Would you play a mode like that and drop into an arena island?
How to complete Fortnite Birthday Bash challenges & rewards
To celebrate three years since Fortnite Battle Royale was released, back on September 26 2017, Epic Games have started the Birthday Bash event, with new challenges to complete.
In addition to the challenges, there are rewards, some festive changes to the map, the battle bus, and birthday presents dotted around the map.
Epic’s announcement says: “During the celebration, you’ll notice some festive changes around the Island. The Battle Bus is sporting a fresh new paint job to mark the occasion, and after dropping in, find yourself a Birthday Present and see what’s inside.”
Birthday Bash Challenges
These challenges will be available from September 26 to October 1, but thankfully most are straightforward.
You can see them all below (via FortniteFevers).
The one challenge that might cause you some trouble though, is dancing in front of different birthday cakes.

To help, here is a map of locations for the birthday cakes on the Fortnite island, via FortniteInsider.

For creative players, there’s also some new content there, with the Princess Castle prefab now available.
You can submit a creation using the Princess Castle by October 6 for a chance to be featured in the first official Box Fight tournament as part of an upcoming Wild Wednesday tournament.
How to get the new Charge Shotgun in Creative Mode
These maps allow you to get the new Charge Shotgun in Fortnite Creative Mode.
Fortnite Season 3 brought us the new Charge Shotgun in place of the Pump. They even nerfed the Tac Shotgun to, presumably, make the Charge a bit more attractive. This is an intricate and confusing weapon to use, at first. Naturally, players wanted to hop into Creative Mode to try it out.
When players loaded up Creative, however, they found out that Epic had made the strange decision to omit the new weapon from this game mode. We don’t know why this is – other than Epic wanting us to learn how to use it in-game rather than with our friends.
There is a workaround, however. Putting chests on your map that offer random loot will still spawn the Charge Shotgun. Anyone with publishing power can create a map with the Charge Shotgun, with a little work.
This video from Yerk YT shows how you can make your own map with the Charge Shotgun. All you have to do is spawn a bunch of chests along with an explosive barrel, change some settings, publish, and start the match.
This isn’t the easiest way to get the Charge Shotgun in Creative, however. You can also input one of the existing Creative Maps and find the new weapon within them. Right now, these all seem to be 1v1 maps.
Yerk YT included his map in the video, but his method is a bit messy. There’s another creative map that follows the traditional “1v1 with any gun” format. The code for this one is 0983-1895-2785. YouTuber, Codelife, created a tutorial with the map, as well. For some reason, he puts in a custom code before he starts the match. That isn’t necessary to get the Charge Shotgun.
So, there you have it. Now, you can practice with the Charge Shotgun without sacrificing your in-game performance. The Charge will, undoubtedly, come to Creative Mode within the next patch or two, but this is how you can get your hands on it, early.
Fan-made Fortnite cinematic gives Meowscles his revenge on Deadpool
Meowscles finally starts to take back The Yacht in this fan-made Fortnite cinematic.
Fortnite players were largely excited to learn that Deadpool would be the secret skin in Season 2. We counted down the days until he came into the game, and then the Deadpool takeover happened.
Deadpool took The Yacht from Meowscles and sent him packing. The latter ended up at Box Factory with his tail between his legs. To this day, if you’re sneaky, you can even see Meowscles crying at his new home.
It’s been a couple of months since Meowscles was forced to relocate. All eyes are on the Device Event, now, making Meowscles the forgotten tragedy of Season 2.
One Fortnite player gave Meowscles some sort of redemption in the form of a cinematic. Reddit user u/FriendlyGuy02 posted the first of a multi-part series called “Meowscles’ Revenge,” where our favorite buff cat can be seen plotting and enacting the first part of his scheme.
At the end of the cinematic, we see Deadpool open a box that contains a Rift. Viewers took to the comments to request a second video where we see Meowscles reclaim his Yacht and the next part of Deadpool’s punishment.

Meowscles’ displacement was one of the sad stories of Season 2. Even if he doesn’t get any revenge within the cannon of the Fortnite story, fan fiction will get him there with this series of cinematics.
