From The Visitor arriving on the island in Chapter 1 Season 4 to The Seven collectively defeating the Imagined Order in Chapter 3 Season 2, Fortnite has certainly come a long way.

It won’t be an overstatement to say that members of The Seven are the most important characters in the Fortnite storyline. Accordingly, big names like Brie Larson and Dwayne The Rock Johnson, among others, have voiced them.

Now that all members of The Seven have been revealed officially, let’s take a look at the voice actors who’ve played them.

The Seven’s members in Fortnite and their voice actors

The Foundation: Dwayne Johnson

The Foundation and The Rock is arguably the most popular character and voice actor, respectively, on this list. The character first appeared in Chapter 2 Season 6 and then played a major role in defeating Dr. Slone in Chapter 2 Season 8. Ever since he’s saved the loopers and the island on several occasions.

Fans were amazed to know that The Rock is not only the voice behind The Foundation, but he’s also the face of the character without the mask. The Hollywood superstar time and again dropped hints about his part in the Battle Royale game and things became official with The End live event.

The Scientist: Joel McHale

The Scientist deserves credit for bringing back The Paradigm to The Seven. As opposed to other members of the group, he doesn’t like infighting.

American actor and comedian Joel McHale, known for hosting The Soup, plays The Scientist in Fortnite. It is worth noting that JB Blanc originally voiced the character.

The Scientist is no longer intimidating and largely does foolish things innocently. Having said that, The Seven wouldn’t have won the war without his valiant efforts to reunite the group.

The Origin: Rahul Kohli

The Origin is played by British actor Rahul Kohli who’s worked in some prominent video games already. These include Rage 2, Gears 5, and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed which is yet to release.

The Origin, a.k.a. the Cube King, has one of the most interesting backstories in Fortnite. He used to work with the Cube Queen and was imprisoned by the IO. He somehow escaped and joined The Seven to save all reality.

The Origin was originally the Cube King in Fortnite

The Imagined: Cherami Leigh Kuehn

Cherami Leigh Kuehn is no stranger to voice acting in video games. From Cyberpunk 2077 and Borderlands series to Halo Infinite and Persona 5, she’s worked in several renowned titles.

The Imagined was revealed in Chapter 3 Season 2, and the character still has a lot to disclose, including her real identity and past. Hence, it is safe to assume that this is just the beginning of Cherami Leigh Kuehn’s journey as a voice actor in Fortnite.

The Imagined skin arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The Paradigm: Brie Larson

Brie Larson has repeatedly expressed her admiration for Fortnite and even teased a ‘secret’ voice acting project in April 2022. Even though Epic Games hasn’t confirmed this, it is almost certain that Brie Larson is The Paradigm.

The latest Collision event backed the rumors about Brie being the voice behind The Paradigm. The character is most likely a snapshot of Singularity and is often called a double agent who works for both Imagined Order and The Seven.

Fans around the world are eagerly waiting for the developers to reveal the voice actors for The Visitor and The Order as well. While the former is now willing to become a permanent resident of the Fortnite island, the latter has a mysterious past like her sister, The Imagined.

Combat SMG removed from Fortnite in v21.20 and replaced with new Charge SMG

Epic Games have now replaced the Combat SMG with a new Charge SMG across all their game modes. Here’s all about the new weapon.

fortnite charge smg

Fortnite recently replaced one of its most used SMGs, the Combat SMG weapon with a more powerful Charge SMG in the latest v21.20 update. At a time when the SMG meta was going strong, this major move changed the opinions of the player base about the need for replacement.

The weapons meta in Fortnite Chapter 3 has evolved over time as players continue to discover new ways to use the overpowered weapons arsenal in their matches. With the disliking of Shotguns in this chapter, players have shifted their focus on choosing ARs and SMGs as preferred weapons in their loadout.

Back in Chapter 3 Season 1, players saw the potential in SMGs being overpowered in the game and developed a Pray and Spray meta to use them to lead themselves to a Victory Royale. The combination of an MK-Seven Assault Rifle and a Stinger SMG was mostly favored by the players as they went to combat against their opponents.

But with the launch of Chapter 3 Season 3, the Hammer Assault Rifle and Combat SMG were used in a similar fashion, although not as overpowering as its predecessor. However, in a recent update, Epic chose to replace the favored Combat SMG with a new Charge SMG that promises heavy damage and a stronger fire rate.

Charge SMG replaces Combat SMG in Fortnite v21.20

In a rather unexpected update, Fortnite chose to replace one of its most popular SMGs with a more powerful Charge SMG across all playlists. The weapon requires the player to hold down the fire button to charge the weapon similar to a Charge Shotgun and release a barrage of bullets upon their opponents.

The shorter the time the fire button is held, the smaller the duration of the fire barrage will be and vice versa. The weapon also has a cooldown rate similar to the Charge Shotgun which applies after a heavy fire barrage if the fire button is held down longer.

In addition to the update, Fortnite also tweeted that the Combat SMG has been removed from all playlists and has been vaulted indefinitely. However, the Charge SMG will not be available in the Competitive playlists until quite some time.

Looking at the above gameplay for the Charge SMG, pros and several players are already dissing the new weapon for its slower reload time and heavy recoil. The weapon takes too much time to charge the barrage and once released, cannot target an enemy faster than the Stinger SMG.

Pros like SypherPK, NickEh30, and TypicalGamer have all expressed their dislike of the weapon and would rather play with the Combat SMG than the new SMG added to the game. Apart from this major change, several map changes, unvaulting of Port-A-Fort, the addition of new movement mechanics in Save The World, and more were seen in the latest v21.20 update that the community sang praises of.

After a long time finally, Fortnite’s PvE campaign Save the World receives major updates with v21.20 and players cannot be happier. It has been almost a year since the game received an update with the latest game mechanics and things are looking good for the game mode more than ever.

Save The World campaign has been around in Fortnite ever since its initial days. Some OG players would say that the game mode itself was the actual Fortnite and still is due to its originality in the storyline and the classic graphics it boasts.

During Chapter 2 of the Battle Royale game mode, players slowly parted ways with Save The World, once it came out of Early Access and was accessible to anyone who bought a special cosmetic pack from the Item Shop. As a result, Epic also stopped updating the game mode with the latest mechanics and features and instead shifted its focus to Battle Royale.

But ever since the launch of Chapter 3, when Epic decided to add animals to the PvE campaign, players were hoping to finally get some latest Sprint, Mantle, and Crouch mechanics to the game mode soon enough. Looks like the day has finally arrived and Epic has indeed added some major updates to the game mode.

Epic adds new Movement Mechanics to Save The World in the latest update

Save The World game mode has just received a major update in the form of the latest movement mechanics as Sprinting, Sliding, Mantling, Crouching, and Shoulder Bashing Doors gets added to it. Now players can use the latest movement mechanics they have been using in Battle Royale game mode in Save The World and fight the Husk Monsters in their own unique way.

Fortnite also posted some clips on their official blog alongside the Homebase Status report v21.20 of how players can use the Ninja hero in their loadout and climb greater heights by combining the mantle feature with a double jump.

In addition to these features, Epic also added Fennix as the next hero to enter the PvE campaign and has given a dedicated questline called Flight of the Fennix to the character. Players can now jump in the game and complete quests linked to Fennix to acquire the hero in their loadout and use its ferocious powers to Save The World.

As Epic continues to improve the stability of its Battle Royale and Creative game modes, it is surely pleasing to see that finally Save The World is receiving a similar treatment with major changes being made to improve its gameplay experience. Nevertheless, the player base speculates in the coming days the PvE will also receive the popular Overshield feature as they experience in Zero Build as well as some new weapons added to their loadout.

Fortnite hosts weekly tournaments that promise major rewards to their player base in the form of cash prizes or in-game cosmetics. A tournament that was recently announced for its European Player Base accidentally revealed rewards that were being promised to each participant.

The competitive side of Fortnite still grows stronger every day as the game introduces its player base to different modes and unique tournaments that offer some hefty rewards to winners. Players ranging from amateurs to sweats compete against each other to level up their skill and prove their mettle in the competitive community.

Newer pros emerge in every tournament who challenge these OG sweats and grab the victory royale right from their hands in neck-to-neck situations. While several veterans continue to crib about the game and what Fortnite used to be, the new generation of pros adapt to the game mechanics and evolve their skills with every tournament.

The launch of Zero Build in Fortnite Chapter 3, opened doors for the Zero Build tournaments and several such contests to appear in front of the competitive community. Amongst those, a test event which is currently listed in the compete tab for EU players, shows rewards being granted to each player bagging 1 point in the tournament.

Whiplash Test Event accidentally promises rewards to every player securing one point

Fortnite recently announced a bunch of tournaments for its player base ranging from Jewel Rush (Fives) to Money Wars (Solos), Whiplash (Duos), and Finest’s Realistic 2v2 Event. Amongst those, a description of Whiplash Test Event promised rather bizarre rewards that the community was left in disbelief.

The rewards for the Test Event showed players who secure 1 point throughout the entire tournament will be rewarded with a whopping $2000 and 1000 V-Bucks in their Epic Account. Now even in the wildest of imaginations Epic would never reward the entire player base with such a hefty reward.

Upon seeing the news about this bug, the player base on Twitter went crazy and can only wish for this to be true. Moreover, they speculate that Epic will be removing these rewards and fixing the bug once v21.20 drops later tomorrow.

As tournaments continue to pile up on the compete tab, players can now gain rewards from Arena by leveling up with their Hype points. The rewards range from wraps to emoticons that can be secured by Arena players as they tier up amongst the league in their competitive journey.
