UPDATE: It is now believed that the iceberg is taking global damage from players around the world.
As of January 15 at 1:26 pm EST, the iceberg is just above 2 billion health.
A new location might be arriving in Fortnite thanks to a clue left from the ice boulder near Happy Hamlet.
There were a lot of updates added with Fortnite’s v7.20 patch on January 15, and along with the new additions came a potential hint towards Season 8.
The iceberg that was at the south end of the map, near Happy Hamlet, now has a health bar that is decreasing every second!
One Reddit user flew to the ice boulder on the island next to Happy Hamlet to show the health bar along with its health decrease.
According to Fortnite leaker Lucas7yoshi, the iceberg began at 5 billion health and is decreasing by 30,000 hp every second.

Players can not damage the iceberg, however, the boulder is continuously losing health.
Some players have been able to get underneath the iceberg with in-game glitches, and there seems to be a bunker underneath.
According to commenters under the post, the iceberg should be completely melted in about 4 days.
Do you think the iceberg will melt to reveal a new area, or is Epic trolling fans?
