Popular Fortnite player and streamer Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier has, again, teased that he is finally set to sign with a professional organization.

Symfuhny, cut his teeth in other battle royale games before making the transition to Fortnite – where his popularity has grown exponentially ever since.

Despite his popularitiy and talent, he has remained unsigned – which is uncommon for someone with his high skill level. Yet, that may be about to change as he has, again, teased a possible move to a pro team.

During a stream on March 5, ‘Symfuhny’ said it was possible that he would be signing with a team that evening – but it didn’t play out that way.

However, he has again teased his signing through Team Liquid’s Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve stream. “Oh, he’s signed!” said Poach, teasing his viewers. “You know, after it being this long, since the initial talks, I didn’t think you [Symfuhny] were going to sign with an org.”

The popular streamer has competed in a number of tournaments, in both the duos and squads portions – showing he has versatility in his gameplay and isn’t limited to one type of competition.

Through competing, he has racked up $138,450 in prize money, placing him at 34th in the all-time top earners on Fortnite – someways behind the current leader, Ghost Gaming’s Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller.

However, with the Fortnite World Cup event just around the corner, that earnings list should see some serious movement as players bid to win a large slice of the $30 million prize pool.
