The Fortnite World Cup Duos Finals kick-off today, Saturday, July 27, with 50 of the top duos fighting for a chance to earn a piece of the $30 million prize pool.

The top Fortnite Battle Royale duos who were able to qualify over ten grueling weeks are finally meeting up to decide who the best is in the world.

Whoever is crowned the best duo will walk away with a combined $3 million, or $1.5 million for each player.

In a surprise announcement before the duo event began, the official Fortnite Twitter announced that the biggest Fortnite star would be joining the host crew – Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins.

Saturday’s broadcast will include Fortnite’s most notable star, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins as he will be hosting alongside Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop.

At around 12:30 pm ET / 9:30 am PT, the official Fortnite broadcast began giving a brief break-down of the previous ten weeks of qualifying play along with introducing every duo.

Jordan Fisher will be down on the arena floor interviewing the players, but it will be the casting and hosting desk who will be calling all the shots during competitive play.

After today’s duo finals finish, dozens of players will walk away with hundreds of thousands of dollars to show for their competitive talent.

Top duos like FaZe Clan’s Dubs and Megga, Ghost Aydan and Sean, and 100 Thieves’ Ceice and Elevate will all be competing in Saturday’s duo finals.
