The Fortnite default dance is an iconic Emote used by Fortnite players who have not purchased or earned other Emotes. But do you know where it originated?

Donald Faison, star of the American comedy series ‘Scrubs’ has joined other celebrities in the recent controversy related to Epic Games’ and their creations.

Alongside Chance The Rapper, Blocboy JB, and 2 Milly, Donald is upset that Epic Games has used his dance moves for an Emote used in-game.

Donald shared his thoughts at a cast reunion this weekend at the Vulture Festival when a fan asked if he could do the dance…

If you wanna see it, you can play Fortnite, because they jacked that shit.

However, executive producer Bill Lawrence made it clear that Epic Games reached out for permission to use the dance moves…

Fortnite had to inquire for the legality of it, and it’s fine because it’s just a character dancing.

Faison followed up by clearly stating that he is not happy with this decision…

I don’t get no money. That’s what y’all are thinking, right? Somebody got paid? No. No. I did not. Somebody stole that shit, and it’s not mine any more.

Check out the dance both in-game and in the TV show below.

Let us know what you think – Is the frustration from these celebrities warranted, or is it being taken too seriously? Stay tuned for any updates on this story.
