The highly-popular ‘Blitz’ Limited Time Mode has been removed from Fortnite.
Epic Games took to Twitter on Friday, November 9 to announce that ‘Blitz’ will be removed from Fortnite, and replaced by ‘Disco Domination.
Blitz, a Limited Time Mode, is the most fast-paced adaptation of Fortnite which features the Storm already closing in, along with more loot and resources available to players.
After being added on November 6 with the V6.22 update, Blitz only lasted three days before being removed.

Some Fortnite fans have expressed frustration with the LTM being removed so quickly after it was not featured in the title for quite some time.
Matches in the Blitz playlist typically last around 15 minutes due to their sped-up nature. This, along with the increase in loot and action, has allowed the mode to become wildly popular to some across the Fortnite community.
At the time of writing, it is unknown if Epic Games plans to bring back Blitz with a ‘Solo’ option in the near future.
