In two weeks, the next massive Fortnite Battle Royale event kicks off and features some of the biggest names.
While the World Cup will showcase the best players in the game, the Summer Block Party on June 15th and 16th is dedicated to the mainstream crossover.
Fortnite has crossed into celebrity culture like no game ever has, just last Friday rapper Tory Lanez was on Instagram talking about he was smacking players in Fortnite Fridays.
The Summer Block Party is separated into two parts. First is the Celebrity Pro-Am – which Ninja and Marshmello won last year – and second is the Creative Showdown.
The Celebrity Pro-Am is almost ready to go with athletes like Juju Smith Schuster and Kenneth Faried, musicians like RL Grime and Dillon Francis, and actors like Hannibal Buress and Jimmy O. Yang set to compete.
The Creative Showdown is still being announced and the second group has been decided as Pokimane, Cizzorz and EDM group Lost Kings.
The trio, plus an unannounced Golden Ticket winner, will be competing as the Sunshine Soldiers.

The only other trio currently announced is CouRage, Loserfruit, and Jordan Fisher who will be representing the Llama Record Company.
There are still six more groups set to be announced and with only 12 days till the start of the event as of this announcement, we can expect a group nearly every day from here on out.
With the 32 celebrities competing in the Celebrity Pro-Am (so far), and the eight blank celebrity spots there will be at least 40 huge names competing.
Tickets are still available for seats around the bowl and start at $35.00 each. You can grab tickets through Ticketmaster if you live close to Inglewood, California or just watch on Twitch, YouTube or Mixer.
