Fortnite Halloween costumes are going to be popular yet again but one household appears to have taken a stand against them and barred them from getting candy.

It’s almost time for Halloween which means all the Trick-or-Treaters out there will need to grab a costume to go collect some candy.

Given Fortnite’s domination in the video game landscape, it’s no surprise to see many youngsters dressed up as Skull Troopers, Brite Bombers, and whatever else costumes are out there at their local Halloween store.

One household has obviously not been swept up by Fortnite fever and has even gone as far as pledging to not hand out candy to any kid wearing a costume from Epic’s wildly popular battle royale title.

Given Fortnite’s foothold in the mainstream, it has become a constant source of criticism and something that’s popular to hate on, as is anything that has widespread popularity.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of replies to tweet defended Fortnite, especially since it’s one of the most played games in the world.

For Fortnite fans, it has to be tiring defending the game constantly from those who don’t play it.

While the Fortnite costume ban from this house is practically harmless, it does show the negative connotation the game has the burden of carrying.

There’s nothing wrong with sporting a DJ Yonder outfit while flossing, so go ahead and do that if you want to, just make sure you don’t end up at this house or you won’t be able to get your hands on any candy.

Luckily, you’ll be able to go to any other house and get your bucket filled right up with candy.
