Fortnite players can customize their character’s skin, backbling, glider, pickaxe, and more in order to show off their own unique style, and one leak suggest that more are headed to the Battle Royale game.
Players have been able to customize more and more with their Fortnite characters throughout the game’s lifespan aside from the standard character skin.
The daily Item Shop still continues to churn out new cosmetic skins, pickaxes, emotes and more which players resume to purchase.
What is the leak?
Fortnite leaker HypeX was able to dig through Fortnite’s code in order to locate new customizations that will be available through the in-game locker.
According to HypeX, hats, taunts, victory poses, calling cards, and The Battle Bus itsself will have customization available.
Within the code, it suggests that Fortnite will soon allow players to unlock calling cards by completing in-game challenges, possibly taking a page from Call of Duty.
What are Victory Poses?
A new Victory Royale screen concept was posted on the FortniteBR subreddit back in Season 3 which suggested showing off the winning team in style.
SamiGlitch’s concept would display each player’s statistics throughout the game including kills, assists, and revives as they would taunt the rest of the lobby with different poses.
It seems like Epic Games might have taken note of SamiGlitch’s concept and could be adding a whole new Victory Royale screen into Fortnite shortly.
We should also note that the code for customizable hats and The Battle Bus were first discovered back during Fortnite’s One Year Anniversary, so don’t hold your breath.
