It’s a crazy time when A-list actors and massive movie studios are turning towards Fortnite to promote their game.

Fortnite Battle Royale has truly overtaken mainstream American culture unlike any game ever before.

We’ve obviously seen quite a few examples of mainstream crossover, but there’s still something surreal about seeing Samuel L. Jackson talk about Fortnite with Myth.

Jackson is promoting his new movie Shaft, a follow-up to the same role he played in 2000.

To hit the online audience, Warner Bros enlisted the help of TSM’s Myth to get in front of that crucial Fortnite player base.

The result is a funny clip as Jackson works to get Myth to say his signature catchphrase.

I mean Samuel L. Jackson saying the duos and trios he is used to are with women is just the kind of amazing content the world needed.

This seems like a well-done promotion as they took the time to create a unique script and filming to make sure this wasn’t just another sponsored post on Twitter.

The next step would be having Myth actually appear in the movie. While that doesn’t seem likely, they could definitely have a throw away scene featuring Myth and Fortnite in some way.

Avengers: Endgame did it after all and that worked well. Just have Myth accidentally get knocked off a building and have him die from fall damage.

Do partnerships like this make you want to see a movie more?
