Epic Games will be releasing Fortnite Battle Royale’s tenth season, Season X, on August 1 and a video by Epic Games shows off new additions including a new vehicle and location.
Players are currently preparing for one of the largest updates to arrive in Fortnite Battle Royale with Season X.
Downtime will begin at 4 am ET / 1 am PT, so Fortnite fans will not be able to enter any Battle Royale or Save the World games until servers come back online.
While players awaited Season X, a leaked video was posted on Twitter with an announcer giving information on Fortnite’s tenth season.
Fortnite Season X introductory video
The short video that was floating around Twitter was seemingly leaked as Epic Games or Fortnite’s official social media channels have not posted the video.
Players will first notice that the video includes gameplay of players fighting against giant mech robots that come flying from the sky which will be two-player operated vehicles called “Brutes”.
In every new Fortnite season there are map changes, and it looks like players will be able to access a whole new area that looks to be a meteor.
Next, fans will be able to interact with mysterious rift zones that will “alter players favorite POI’s”.
Fornite Battle Royale Season X
While fans sit and wait for Fortnite’s servers to become available, many fans have speculated with the tenth season will include.
We have seen the previous Season X trailer where Jonesy can be seen floating through a different dimension with different Fortnite-themed items floating past him seemingly hinting at a “nostalgic” feel.
Epic Games has already said that Season X will be a larger update than normal, so that means tons of content will be included! Are the servers live yet?
