It seems that the two most mysterious Fortnite Battle Royale cosmetics have been suddenly removed from the game files.
We always have skins and other cosmetics added in a patch update to Fortnite Battle Royale, and those skins are usually rolled out into the Item Shop until the next update comes along. However, some cosmetics are added into the game files and never see the light of day – at least for a while.
K-Pop is one of the most mysterious Fortnite cosmetics yet, being added in September 2018 as an unnamed image of a prominent Asian character with a pink monster hoodie on. We only learned his name and confirmed his scheduled addition to the Item Shop when the files were updated a few weeks after.
Unfortunately, he has now been completely removed from the game files – with no word on whether or not we’ll see him make an appearance into Fortnite.
Sadly, he wasn’t the only mysterious cosmetic to be completely erased from the game. Onesie, another mysterious skin, was only added into the game files on Patch v6.10 alongside the Arachnid set. However, it has since been removed without a trace from the files.
We do not know if the removal of both of these skins is permanent, or if they are being removed to change up a bit; we do know that we’re probably not going to see them anytime in the future. It’s quite odd for Epic Games to just scrap two, what would seem complete, cosmetics.
We’ll have to see in the future if these skins sneak into the Item Shop – or who knows elsewhere. Stay tuned to FortniteINTEL for the latest leaks, rumors, news and all things concerning Fortnite Battle Royale and Save the World.
