Fans of the game have noticed a snowstorm off the southern coast near Flush Factory that is slowly approaching the map.
The snowstorm is likely part of a sweeping winter change to the map, similar to what Epic did last year.
Beyond the snowstorm, some other clues have hinted at what may be in store during the coming months.
The A.I.M. skin’s hands and feet are frozen and he landed in Flush Factory where his parachute can still be found.
Maybe A.I.M. is an advance scout coming from that storm? This unlockable loading screen seems to indicate they have a mission for their time on the map.
Fans have begun theorizing on what possible changes to the map could look like.
One Reddit user made the snowstorm cover the coastline from Snobby Shores to Flush Factory. Two new locations were added, Slippery Slopes – with some sweet MS Paint skills – and Metal Maze which sits between Greasy Grove and Shifty Shafts.
The Deep Freeze bundle recently went on sale, giving players a thematic choice for skins when the snowstorm does finally hit the map.
