Mando’s Bounty is now live in Fortnite Season 5, giving player a chance to unlock the exclusive Beskar Umbrella.
Epic have been all-in with the Fortnite crossovers in Season 5. They brought Mando, Master Chief, Walking Dead characters, Kratos, and more to the game this season, alone.
In Fortnite v15.30, Epic doubled-down on the Mandalorian theme by introducing the new Mando’s Bounty limited-time mode – a refreshing take on the old Wick’s Bounty mode from Chapter 1.
Players of Wick’s Bounty – or the plain Bounty LTM – know the general idea of how this works. You have three lives to eliminate players and earn points. When you are one of the top three players in the game, you are marked for everyone to see.
Eliminating a player grants you their coins if you’re quick enough to pick them up. Be careful, though, as this Bounty mode has a slight twist. Mando, himself, will be hunting you down if you’re among the top players late in the match.
Like Wick’s Bounty before it, you will be able to receive an exclusive and limited-time glider for winning: Mando’s Bounty Beskar Umbrella. Here’s how to get your hands on it.
How to unlock the Beskar Umbrella
The process of unlocking the Beskar umbrella is a simple one. All you need to do is hop into a Bounty game (all team sizes are available), kill enemies, and win. Of course, you probably know that it’s not as easy as it sounds.
Our recommendation would be to try to survive until the end. Try to avoid death in the early-game, and wait for high-value targets to approach. This sounds like a simple BR tip, but it’s arguably more important to play slower in Bounty – even if you’re skilled at Fortnite.
Being in the top three players during the early-game is never a place you want to be. You’ll be marked on the map, and heighten the chance that you lose it all. Ideally, you’ll want to have all three lives going into end-game. That way – if you die – you can respawn and exact revenge on your foe.
Once you finally win your match, the umbrella will be waiting for you in your locker. Players have until February 9 at 9 AM ET to unlock the Beskar Umbrella before the LTM rotates out of the game.
Fortnite Flare Gun locations in Season 6 week 8
Fortnite’s Flare Gun has returned for a limited time, and here is where players can purchase the dual purpose weapon in Season 6.
Fortnite’s Flare Guns have returned for a limited time, but they can only be found at specific locations. Here’s where the Flare Guns are located and how players can obtain them.
Flare Guns were first introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. Right after shakedowns were introduced in Season 2, Flare Guns gave players an even easier way to locate their opponents. By shooting a flare into the air, nearby enemies were revealed for a period of time.
On top of revealing opponents, Fortnite’s Flare Gun could also light wooden structures on fire. This was a new mechanics introduced in Season 3 and is still a great way to keep opponents out of their wooden shelters.
Flare Location in Fortnite Season 6
As shown on the map below, there are two locations where players can find the Flare Gun. Unlike its previous iterations, players will have to purchase the Flare Gun from an NPC. Blaze located at Timber Tent and Raptor located at Crash Site will sell players a Flare Gun for 245 Gold Bars.
The Flare Gun will only be around from May 6 until May 13. After which, players will have to wait until the next time Epic Games decides to unvault the Flare Gun. But, for the next seven days, players can light structures on fire and reveal their foes with the pull of a trigger.
In addition to operating as it did in prior seasons, the Flare Gun can also reveal the locations of animals. This will make it easier for players to locate specific animals for quests, but the bright flare will also attract the attention of other players.
The Flare Gun is being brought back in honor of the first Season 6 Wild Week. This event focuses on fire weapons, thus the return of Fortnite’s Flare Gun. This also means that players can expect other vaulted weapons or items to return with each new Wild Week.
Players should enjoy their time with the Flare Gun while it lasts, and stay tuned for other unvaulted weapon updates.
How to claim weekly Fortnite Crew bonuses
The Fortnite Crew membership is offering weekly bonuses to active subscribers, and here is how to claim those items.
To sweeten Epic Game’s monthly subscription service, players are being offered a weekly Fortnite Crew bonus during the month of May.
Epic Games announced the Fortnite Crew membership during Chapter 2 Season 5. Players could pay $11.99 a month to receive an exclusive skin, 1,000 V-Bucks, and access to the latest Battle Pass. Over time, Epic Games has continued to partner with other services to make Fortnite Crew an even better deal.
Fortnite Crew members have been offered free Disney+ subscriptions, Spotify memberships, and even access to Fortnite’s Save The World mode. However, players discovered that they only had to subscribe every other month to unlock these bonuses. Now, Epic Games is offering weekly bonuses to ensure members stay subscribed all month long.
Claiming weekly Fortnite Crew bonuses
When the May 2021 Fortnite Crew membership was revealed, players were quick to notice that subscribers would receive weekly bonuses. While the Epic blog post didn’t specify what these bonuses were, it did tell players to check their cosmetic lockers every Tuesday.
The first weekly Fortnite Crew bonus is the Bearallel Universe loading screen. In order for players to redeem this item they have to have an active Fortnite Crew subscription. The bonus will be deposited into the player’s locker automatically the next time they log in.
If the player does not receive a notification that the loading screen has been unlocked, they will need to check their locker. If the loading screen is not found, check to see if the subscription to Fortnite Crew is still active.
The loading screen features the Cuddle Team Leader being transported to a futuristic city covered in neon lights. Some players believe that these bonuses will help tell the story that the Fortnite Crew pass has set up. Others believe that this may be hinting at another iteration of the Cuddle Team Leader coming to the game soon.
Regardless, it is a pretty sweet loading screen that only Crew members have access to. Players shouldn’t expect the weekly Fortnite Crew bonus to be any bigger than a loading screen or back bling. Even still, these are only cosmetic items that can be obtained by Fortnite Crew members.
All Fortnite Season 6 Exotic Weapon locations
Fortnite Season 6 is here, and only a few Exotic weapons made it. Here are all Exotic weapon locations for the new Fortnite season.
Fortnite Season 6 marked the return of Exotic weapons to Fortnite. Not all of the Season 6 weapons are there, however, and they’ve moved locations.
Mythics have returned to the game in Season 6 but in a limited capacity. The only classic Mythic items in Fortnite Season 5 include the Spire Jumpboots and the Spire Assassin’s Primal Shotgun.
What’s more, Epic added craftable items to the game that allow players to create unique weapons out of existing parts. For instance, a Mechanical Bow and two Shockwave Grenades make the Shockwave Bow – a massive upgrade from both weapons.
Fortnite Season 6 Exotic weapon locations
Exotic weapons have returned to Fortnite Season 6, but not as many as we had in Season 5. These will be supplementary items rather than the focus of the season, which appears to be on the new crafting mechanic.
Many of the NPCs who sold these items in Season 5 have also either moved locations or don’t sell them anymore, so a new guide is needed. Here’s a map of all of the Season 6 Exotic weapon locations.
As you can see, there are seven Exotic weapons and items currently available in Fortnite Season 6. These are the:
- Hop Rock Dualies: sold by Gutbomb in Logjam Woodworks
- Chug Cannon: sold by Slurp Jonesy in Slurpy Swamp
- Shadow Tracker Pistol: sold by Power Chord in Dance Club Cabin
- Dub Shotgun: sold by Burnout south of Steamy Stacks
- Grappler Bow: sold by Lara Croft in Stealthy Stronghold
- Unstable Bow: sold by Rebirth Raven northwest of Sweaty Sands
- Raz’s Mythic Explosive Bow: dropped after eliminating Raz at The Spire
The good news is that, unlike last season, all of the NPCs that sell Exotics only spawn in one location – at least, so far.
We’ll keep this post updated as Epic add more Exotics to Fortnite Season 6. We expect to see them takes things further as the season goes on, so stay tuned to more news on Exotic weapons.
