Epic Games are offering the Fortnite Trinity Trooper skin for free to EU Fortnite players. Here’s how to get it.

Fortnite introduced an interesting way to host tournaments and offer rewards back in Season 4. Instead of putting money up for small-scale tournaments, they began offering players cosmetic rewards. Now, players can get a top-level competitive experience with relatively little on the line.

The Fortnite Trinity Challenge is the latest tournament of this type. Here’s everything you need to know about the event, including how to earn the Trinity Trooper Outfit early and for free.

Fortnite Trinity Challenge

Fortnite Trinity Challenge

The Fortnite Trinity Challenge will begin at 2 PM GMT on March 14. Like most similar Fortnite tournaments, players can compete for three hours or ten matches, whichever comes first.

This will be a Trios event, so you’ll need to compete with two other teammates to be eligible. The top 3,333 Trios will win the Trinity Trooper Outfit, and anyone who completes at least five matches will earn the Trinity Impact and Trinity Overload Emoticons.

So far, this is an EU-only tournament. Players from other regions can compete in the event, but they’ll need to play off-ping, giving EU Fortnite players a massive advantage.

The Trinity Trooper skin will be available to all players in every region at some point via the Item Shop. We don’t have any official news from Epic on when that will be, but we can assume that Trinity Challenge winners will have exclusive access to the skin for at least a week or two.

Good luck to all of the competitors in the Trinity Challenge.

The top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite (2021)

Fortnite sweats love to use a particular set of cosmetics for aesthetic or advantage. Here are the top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite.

fortnite sweatiest skins

Here are the top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. If you see a player wearing any of these, it might be best to avoid them at all costs.

Last year, we completed a list of the top-ten sweatiest skins in the game. Many of those skins have retained their “sweaty” status, but we’ve seen a lot of Item Shop updates since then.

As most players know, a Fortnite sweat isn’t only distinguishable by their skin. Their pickaxe and back bling also tell a story, which is why we’re opening this list to include additional sweaty Fortnite cosmetics.

As we said, a lot of the skins from last year are still drenched in sweat, and you’ll see a lot of them on this list. However, as players evolve and more skins are released, we will continue to update this list with the sweatiest of skins. Here are the top 10 sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite.

Recon Expert

In our first article, we listed the “OG Skins” as some of the sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. Let’s be real. A lot of the sweatiest players today weren’t playing when Renegade Raider and Black Knight were available. However, the “recent” release of a certain OG Skin has a lot of sweaty players pretending they were playing in 2017.

The Recon Expert was a rare skin, but new sweats were given the opportunity to purchase it after its re-release. Unlike Ghoul Trooper or Skull Trooper, OG owners weren’t given an exclusive style. Now, it’s impossible to discern an OG sweat from a wannabe.

Pink Ghoul Trooper

This is an OG skin that has stood the test of time for many reasons. While original owners of the Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper were given exclusive styles, the Pink Ghoul Trooper is the only skin sweaty players still use.

For one, it proves that they were around during the early days of Fortnite. And two, it’s a female skin which many pro players prefer. It isn’t used in competitive play because of its vibrant colors, but sweaty players will show their dominance wearing the Pink Ghoul Trooper in Pubs.

Banner Brigade set

Banner Brigade may have overtaken the Soccer skins in terms of the sweatiest set in Fortnite. They offer substantial value for their price – only 800 V-Bucks with the ability to customize the style – but seem to be dominated by those at the top level.

We aren’t seeing as many Banner Brigade skins as we were last year, but the two back bling options are still very common. It’s easy to understand why. These are the only cosmetics that make your Banner mean something, and the customization options make them a good value.

Soccer Skins

Speaking of Soccer Skins, you didn’t really think they wouldn’t be on the list did you? These are iconic skins for sweaty players. Mainly younger players who had to coax their parents into buying them V-Bucks so they could buy their own customizable skin.

They aren’t nearly as popular now as many other skins on this list. That being said, you know you’re in for a fight if you see one. A sweat who continues to wear their soccer skin probably spends more time in creative courses than the actual game, and they are ready to taste blood.

Studded Axe

The Studded Axe is one of the sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite due to its competitive advantage. This bad boy barely makes a sound when it’s harvesting mats, and its sleek design makes it harder to see.

It’s also in the Item Shop quite frequently, so wannabe pro-players have the opportunity to purchase it every month or so. There are other axes that are just as quiet but harder to obtain. That’s why you’ll run into a lot of sweaty players running the Studded Axe

Star Wand

Speaking of sweaty harvesting tools, the Star Wand is by far the sweatiest pickaxe in Fortnite. Why? We have no idea. A handful of pros use it. It makes minimal noise when swung. But it isn’t all that rare.

However, its sweatiness is undeniable. It’s a well-known meme in the Fortnite community that the Star Wand is used exclusively by sweats. Maybe players are hoping that the wand will be bugged again to deal 75 damage per swing. That likely won’t happen, but that won’t stop sweaty players from hoping

Sparkplug

Sparkplug, like a lot of skins on this list, is the skin of a Creative Warrior. It’s not as common as some of the others on the list, but it’s sweaty, nonetheless.

In my experience, a Sparkplug skin is often the real deal. You have a lot of pretenders wearing Soccer skins and Star Wands, but Sparkplug skins are killers; more often than not.

Aura

Aura was one of those skins that you knew would be ‘sweaty,’ and it didn’t disappoint. For some reason, Aura became the primary skin of several pro-Fortnite players and sweats across the world.

Why is this skin so sweaty? It’s hard to tell. All we know is that an Aura either means business or thinks that they’re better than they are.

Scarlet Commander

A new competitor for sweatiest skin in Fortnite has entered the chat, and their name is the Scarlet Commander. Go ahead and open Twitch right now or during a tournament. I guarantee one of the top Fortnite streamers is currently using this skin.

And it’s pretty obvious why. Since a certain skin that we will talk about next has been banned from comp, players are looking for a new skin that will give them an advantage. The Scarlet Commander is almost completely black with a few dark red accents and minimally exposed flesh. In dark areas and at night, Scarlet Commander is near invisible.

Superhero Skins

Against all odds, the superhero skins have become the sweatiest skins in the game. Even the male variants are usually worn by skilled players, which is rare.

The reason these skins were the sweatiest was because of the all-black and all-white styles. The superhero skins have been banned altogether in competitive play, but they still run rampant in pubs.

Before the ban, nearly every player in a competitive tourney was sporting one of these skins. It was all-black which was banned last year. After that ban, players switched to all-white. And now they aren’t allowed in comp play at all.

So, there you have it: the ten sweatiest cosmetics in Fortnite. It will be interesting to see which skins, pickaxes, back bling, and even gliders take over the throne over the course of the next year.

We’re sure that we missed a few cosmetics, as we only limited our list to ten. Let us know what we skipped on Twitter @FortniteINTEL.

When Travis Scott & Marshmello will return to Fortnite’s Item Shop

Travis Scott and Marshmello have been away from Fortnite’s Item Shop for over a year, but they could return sometime soon.

Marshmello Travis Scott Item Shop Fortnite

It’s been over a year since the Travis Scott or Marshmello skins have been in the Fortnite Item Shop, but a recent update hints at their return.

Both Travis Scott and Marshmello were added to Fortnite around the time of their in-game concerts. Marshmello had a smaller live event at the start of 2019, while Travis Scott had a massive in-game experience in April of 2020.

While both of these skins are fan favorites, both have suffered from long hiatuses from the Item Shop since their release. The Travis Scott skin has been gone for 436 days, and Marshmello had been missing for almost two years before his most recent appearance.

Travis Scott Fortnite Astronomical Concert

Data miners believed that Travis Scott would be returning to the Item Shop during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6. This was because his cosmetic set assets had been updated during one of the season’s updates. They also believed the same for Marshmello since his set was updated with v16.30.

Other skins were also updated in the v16.30 patch that appeared in Fortnite’s Item Shop shortly after. While some cosmetics are updated to change their appearance or add different styles, the Travis Scott and Marshmello skins haven’t had any physical changes.

Fans speculated that Travis Scott would return on either his skin’s anniversary or on Scott’s birthday. Since the anniversary of when the skin was last available has come and gone, players will have to wait until April 30 to see if Travis Scott will return.

However, while Travis Scott remained missing, Marshmello was put back in the Item Shop near the start of Season 7. His last appearance was on June 13, 2021, close to the release of his latest album. This could mean that Travis Scott will return around the release of his next project.

Only time will tell when or if these musical superstars will return. Some fans speculate that Travis Scott will never return making him one of the rarest skins in the game. Others have concocted ludicrous theories as to why Travis Scott could come back at any given moment.

One of the most sought-after skins in Fortnite is also one that players relate to being sweaty. Regardless, here is how to get the Fortnite soccer player skins.

The soccer skins, or football skins for EU players, were first introduced in Chapter 1 Season 4. These skins quickly became some of the most used skins because of how customizable they are. They were the first skins that players could change the color and number to make it more personal.

Since their release, new soccer skins have been released. Fortnite has also released other sports-related skins such as the NBA and NFL skins. However, the soccer skins still remain the sweatiest of the sports skins. Here is how you can get the Fortnite soccer player skins and join the ranks of the sweats.

Getting the Fortnite soccer player skins

The soccer player skins rotate in and out of the shop almost every season. However, there’s no way to know beforehand when exactly the skins will return. They have generally cycled through the Item Shop at least two or three times a year. Players should have V-Bucks ready just in case they make a surprise appearance.

To get the soccer skins, players have to purchase them from the Item Shop. There are eight different models to choose from, and each one costs 1,200 V-Bucks. However, they may also be sold in a discounted bundle. Most players who use these skins will opt for female character models because of their lower profile.

Each skin can has 33 different customization options, each option representing another soccer/football club. Players can also change the color of their uniforms and the number on their jerseys. For 1,200 V-Bucks, these are the cheapest customizable skins in Fortnite.

Soccer skins are still used by professional Fortnite players today, but most pros opt for different customizable skins. The Boundless Superhero set is used quite frequently because of its mono-colored options. However, Boundless skins cost 2,000 V-Bucks making them much more expensive than soccer skins.
