Owners of the Fortnite Battle Royale Battle Pass for Season 9 have access to Fortbytes. There are 100 of these bytes located around the map or accessible via challenges, and on June 30, the 67th collectible unlocked.
Every Fortbyte comes with a small hint on where to guide players to the byte’s location and requirements. Some bytes specify that players must wear a skin, or use an emote or toy from Fortnite Season 9’s Battle Pass.
Fortbyte #67 unlocked on June 30 and does require players to use a specific Battle Pass item – The Retaliator Glider. It can be acquired by reaching level 79 of Season 9’s pass.
Fortbyte 67 location
Before players hop into a match, be sure to have the Retaliator Glider equipped. If you don’t, then you will not be able to acquire the Fortbyte.
We recommend grabbing the collectible in the Team Rumble LTM in order to avoid annoying early deaths.
Fortbyte 67 can be found at the southern Sky Platform outside of Fatal Fields and Salty Springs, marked below:
Instead of flying right to the Fortbyte, players will need to fly through 3 different triangle-shaped “rings”. The process is similar to previous challenges in past seasons where players had to fly through flaming rings.
Once they successfully fly through all the rings, land on the ground to collect the byte.
If you are having trouble completing the challenge, you can follow InTheLittleWood’s walkthrough video for some help.
There are 100 Fortbytes that will be available to collect throughout Season 9 of Fortnite Battle Royale, and with the season’s end quickly approaching now might be the time to start locating them.
Good luck in locating Fortbyte 67!
