A couple of Fortnite Battle Royale’s most beloved POI’s might be returning thanks to two new Rift Beacons appearing outside of Polar Peak and inside Paradise Palms.

Fortnite Season 10 has had several small map changes focused around specific POIs instead of large map updates thanks to Rift Beacons. Once a Rift Beacon appears, a POI update is usually implemented within a few days.

Thanks to Rift Beacons, players have been able to enjoy a no-build Tilted Town, Retail Row’s return, and a Borderlands-themed area within the desert.

On September 5, players noticed that two new Rift Beacons have popped up and might bring fan-favorite POI’s back into Fortnite.

Are Moisty Mire and Greasy Grove returning?

Fans noticed on September 5 that the ice outside of Polar Peak, where Greasy Grove used to stand, received a Rift Beacon along with Paradise Palms.

Will the Rift Beacon unfreeze Greasy Grove?

While one Rift Beacon sits on an old POI, Greasy Grove, the other is smack in the middle of Paradise Palms. Will Paradise Palms see a design change like Neo Tilted’s switch from a futuristic to Wild West theme or the return of Moisty Mire?

What will the Rift Beacon bring to Paradise Palms?

The last Rift Beacon that was activated was outside the Truck ‘N’ Oasis stop in the desert biome and was able to bring the Fortnite x Mayhem Borderlands crossover event.

Players have been able to find red balloons all over Pleasant Park, hinting at a potential IT Chapter Two crossover.

The next update for Fortnite isn’t expected to take place until around September 10, so we will keep you up to date when Epic announces the v10.30 update.
