Leaks have come out of the v11.30 update that give us more information about the Fortnite X Star Wars event. Here’s what we know.

Epic is going out of its way to protect everything related to the upcoming Fortnite X Star Wars crossover this weekend. We know that they’re planning on showing an exclusive scene from ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ at Risky Reels, but haven’t gotten much official information other than that.

Well, the Fortnite patch v11.30 went live today and contained some new details about the event, including the crash-landing of a TIE Fighter either before or directly after the scene is revealed – the community is split on when it will happen.

Epic has encrypted a ton of Star Wars-related files to keep it out of the data miners’ hands, but some details were bound to slip through the cracks.

Here is everything we know about the Fortnite X Star Wars event so far.

Challenges

We don’t know what the Fortnite X Star Wars challenges will be – but we know that there will be some sort of challenges for this event. As you can see from the image above, all of the challenges are currently encrypted.

We do have one of the challenge rewards, however. You’ll be able to unlock this emote, courtesy of @s1l0x on Twitter.

When you combine these with the leaked Winterfest and Overtime challenges, we’ll have plenty to do while we wait for Chapter 2 Season 2.

Of course, we’re still waiting to hear more from Epic at the Game Awards, tonight. This announcement will likely include some information about the upcoming Star Wars crossover.

LTM

An LTM is yet to be confirmed, but this is the first time we have confirmation of lightsabers existing in the Fortnite universe. Out of all of the Star Wars cosmetics that Epic could add, these seem to be the best fit.

It would be unfortunate if Epic relegated lightsabers to an LTM without releasing a pickaxe. A lightsaber pickaxe would be such a surefire money-maker that it’s borderline irresponsible for Epic not to release it.

Additional information

It appears as though the Star Wars event will be much more widespread than most of the others we’ve seen. This will be closer to the Avengers crossover than, say, the Pandora event – but it could be even larger in scale.

We also saw some Star Wars-themed Care Packages leaked. At least, we assume that’s what these are. We only know that this ‘Small Crate Treasure’ was found in the game files relating to Star Wars.

So, that’s everything we know, so far. Will there be additional skins, pickaxes, emotes, and back bling? Probably, but we’ll have to wait and see.

We’ll keep you posted if any more information comes to light about the Fortnite X Star Wars event. What do you want to see happen? Let us know in the comments.
