The Fortnite Winterfest challenges are asking us to dance at holiday trees in different named locations. Here are the holiday tree locations so you don’t have to go searching.

Epic knocked it out of the park with the holiday update this year. They’re giving us gifts for the first time, bringing back the normal list of challenges, and aren’t imposing any annoying mechanics like zombies or fog.

Some of the Winterfest challenges are easier than others. It’s straightforward to get five kills with an unvaulted weapon, but today’s challenge requires a bit more attention. We need to dance at holiday trees in different named locations. Here’s where you can find them.

Holiday tree locations

There are plenty of holiday trees around the map – and nearly every named location has one. You have several places to choose from, so you can land, loot, and dance after clearing out your target.

You can find holiday trees within all of the following POIs:

  • Slurpy Swamp
  • Lazy Lake
  • Holly Hedges
  • Sweaty Sands
  • Retail Row
  • Pleasant Park
  • Misty Meadows
  • Salty Springs
  • Steamy Stacks

Here’s a video of the different holiday tree locations if you want a more specific outline. This tutorial from YouTuber randomChievos includes nearly all of the locations – so you can pick which five you want to complete.

If you’re dedicated to the challenge, you should be able to finish it in a match or two of Team Rumble. You can land a Lazy or Misty to get those two trees along with Retail Row, then run through Sweaty Sands/Holly Hedges or Salty Springs/Pleasant Park the next game.

The reward for completing the Winterfest day 6 challenge isn’t much to write home about. You’ll get a sweater emote that most people aren’t going to use very much – if ever.

Epic Games

Still, the completionists in the crowd are going to want to dance at these holiday trees as soon as they find them. The reward isn’t great, but we may see a final present for completing all of our challenges.
