Balance will be restored. Downtime for the v8.50 update starts tomorrow, April 25 at 5AM ET(0900 UTC).
The tweet confirms for certain the return of Thanos to the Fortnite universe. The promotional art for the Fortnite X Avengers: Infinity War event had the word “Snap!” written behind Omega and Thanos.
The patch is also expected to include other big changes. Among these are fixes to ‘ghost’ audio, trap placement fixes, changes to weapon pickups, and more.
The Fortnite X Avengers crossover event will also begin on April 25th with the release of v8.50. The event’s details are mostly under wraps, but the Infinity Gauntlet LTM or some version of it will probably return. Thanos is sure to be featured within the event.
