Why Fortnite Sideways Anomalies are insanely overpowered

The new Sideways Anomalies in Fortnite Season 8 are ridiculously overpowered. Here is how players can use them to their advantage.

The new Sideways Anomalies introduced at the start of Fortnite Season 8 are ridiculously overpowered. Here’s why you need to be visiting these anomalies.

Fortnite Season 8 is off to a weird start. Where the past few seasons had themes that were easy to understand, Season 8 is a black swan.

With Cubed being the Season 8 title theme, a bunch of Kevin Cubes have popped up all over the map. Like in Chapter 1, these cubes roll around the map leaving destruction in their wake. But there’s even more to this season’s madness.

Epic Games also threw in the new Sideways biomes. These are zit-lit bubbles that appear on the map that are infested with dangerous creatures. However, the Sideways Anomalies are smaller biomes that are game-changing additions to Fortnite.

What are Sideways Anomalies in Fortnite?

There are two ways players can enter The Sideways in Fortnite Season 8. The first and most popular is via The Sideways biome that appears on one of the POIs at the start of every match. These biomes do not disappear, and they are heavily populated by players and monsters.

However, The Sideways biomes are not as accessible or rewarding as the Sideways Anomalies. Sideways Anomalies appear as purple rift-like markers on the map, and there are three on the map at all times.

When approached, the rifts will expand and create a smaller Sideways biome. Cube Monsters will begin to spawn, and players will be able to spend a small amount of time inside the anomaly before it closes. Once the Sideways Anomaly closes, another one will appear on the map.

Why Sideways Anomalies overpowered

Aside from the larger Sideways biome, players tend to ignore the Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. However, players should visit every Sideways Anomaly they can. Here’s a list of reasons players should visit the Sideways Anomalies.

  • Siphon health from Cube Monster eliminations
  • Easily get max ammo from Cube Monsters
  • Easy way to get Mythic Sideways Weapons

Every time a player kills a Cube Monster, they will gain health and shield. And since the Cube Monsters are easy to kill, players can get full health and shield super quickly. As well, Cube Monsters drop a lot of ammo when eliminated.

Players can also get overpowered Mythic Sideways weapons after visiting 1 or 2 Sideways Anomalies. But what makes these so overpowered is the small number of players that visit them.

Yes, you can get all of these benefits from the large Sideways biomes, but it’s unlikely that you’ll encounter an opponent at Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. Having a biome all to yourself takes the edge off of getting geared up.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 NPC hints at the return of Klombo

Loopers can still not get over the sudden disappearance of Klombo in Fortnite Chapter 3. Here’s why their return could be closer than ever.

Klombo might return to Fortnite

The war between the Imagined Order and The Seven in Fortnite had disastrous consequences including the expulsion of Klombo from the island. However, Haven is curious about the mysterious vanishing of the species.

Klombo is undoubtedly one of the most adorable features in the history of Fortnite. The giant dinosaurs roamed around the island on the new Chapter 3 island and provided players with loot, jump boosts, and countless memories.

However, we haven’t seen Klombo since Chapter 3 Season 2. Just like every other looper, Haven is worried about the dinosaurs and looks forward to their return.

What happened to Klombo in Fortnite?

Even though Klombo wasn’t present on the map during Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, loopers could still discover Klombo mounds. Accordingly, it seemed safe to assume that they were simply avoiding the war and will return soon.

There is a Klombo skeleton on the Chapter 3 Season 3 island which naturally shattered all expectations regarding their return. Having said that, anything and everything is possible in Fortnite, thanks to the Zero Point.

Here’s what Haven says when players interact with her while wearing special skins like Indiana Jones (to be released) and Mecha team leader:

  • I followed some Klombo tracks here, but they disappear.
  • The Klombo disappeared in the same strange flash of light that brought them here.
  • Have you seen any Klombo on your travels?

It is evident that Haven cannot digest how Dr. Slone managed to get rid of Klombo. She believes that the unstable Zero Point is the real reason behind their extinction which is why she also mentions a ‘strange flash of light’.

Epic Games was working on Klombo before putting them in the vault

A few weeks back, leakers revealed that Epic Games is not done with Klombo. In fact, the developers have been trying to make the dinosaurs killable and make them drop a ton of great loot.

Another leak disclosed that Klombo will soon be able to dance when players emote near them. Hence, it makes no sense for Fortnite to work on a wide range of features and then remove them altogether.

Moreover, the majority of the Fortnite community absolutely loves Klombo and their return will be highly appreciated. Content in Chapter 3 has been based on the player base’s demands, and to be fair, permanently removing Klombo is not desirable at all.

For now, loopers cannot do much but wait for new information on Klombo. However, we can assure you that the dinosaurs will return in Chapter 3 with the help of Haven and Zero Point.

Fortnite bugs enable friendly fire, rebooting in Solos, and other bizarre features

While minor XP glitches and gameplay-related bugs have been common in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, the game became unplayable recently.

Fortnite is officially broken

The prominence of bugs and glitches has been a glaring issue in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Loopers recently reported a wide range of peculiar bugs that affected the core mechanics of every mode.

Even AAA titles like Fortnite cannot avoid bugs. However, coding errors are usually fixable and do not impact the meta. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been the case in Chapter 3 Season 3 as loopers have come across a plethora of game-breaking glitches already.

From revealing the position of opponents to changing Solos matches into Duos, here’s everything that Fortnite players have experienced in their recent matches.

Fortnite lobbies become non-functional due to a mysterious bug

Notable leakers and thousands of casual players have fronted following issues in Fortnite:

  • Loopers are able to see the locations of all enemies on the mini map. Apparently, the game puts all the players from the same region in a single team which is why they’re able to see each other’s whereabouts.
  • Random players join your team even when playing Solos.
  • People are eliminated randomly without taking any fights or damage.
  • You can get kicked out for cross-teaming.
  • You can edit an opponent’s builds.

A leaker uploaded a clip on Twitter that will surely help readers in understanding the severity of the situation.

The player was able to notice the locations of several nearby opponents and a bunch of random players were added to their team. To make things worse, the game randomly eliminated them in the seventeenth position.

Countless such clips went viral on social media platforms in the past few hours. While some players discovered that friendly fire is back, others bagged Victory Royales with their opponents (we know, it makes no sense).

Last but not least, YouTuber gattu informed that Fortnite allowed players to use reboot vans in Solos.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is now infamous for glitches and server issues

This isn’t the first time that loopers have faced such game-breaking glitches in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. From temporarily disabling Bushy’s Bulb back bling to removing animals from competitive, Epic Games has repeatedly tried to improve the server’s performance but all in vain.

It seems like the aforementioned bugs are no longer occurring and restarting the game has solved it for many players. Surprisingly, loopers loved this dreadful state of Fortnite, but only because it was temporary.

In hindsight, the current state of Fortnite is indeed unsettling. The developers have been releasing a ton of fresh content with every update, but it is usually accompanied by equally extraordinary bugs.

Fortnite x Kaws collaboration confirmed to bring a new Peely skin

American artist Kaws has announced another collaboration with Fortnite. This time around, loopers can expect a Peely reskin in his style.

Fortnite x Kaws

Kaws and Fortnite collaborated during the Chapter 2 Season 8 Fortnitemares event that brought four Skeleton outfits to the Item Shop. The artist has teased his return in Chapter r3 Season 3 and has most likely worked on a Peely reskin.

The first collaboration between Kaws and Fortnite was a massive hit. Fortnitemares was the perfect occasion for the artist to introduce his characters to the Battle Royale game.

Leakers were anticipating that a new crossover with a renowned artist will be announced tomorrow, but Kaws himself has confirmed it beforehand.

Kaws confirms his return to Fortnite through an Instagram post

Kaws recently posted an image with a card that says, “Dear Fortnite, see you soon”. What’s more interesting is the fact that a banana is placed beside the card.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Peely is one of the, if not the most popular character in Fortnite. The walking banana was first introduced as a meme in Chapter 1 Season 8, and countless variants have arrived ever since. These include Unpeely, Agent Peely, Frozen Peely, and Peely Bone, among others.

A few minutes before Kaws confirmed the collaboration, leakers iFireMonkey and Shiina had these things to say about an upcoming Fortnite collaboration:

  • A collaboration with a prominent artist will be announced tomorrow.
  • A well-known Fortnite character will get a new style from the artist.
  • Alongside the skin, there will be a back bling, a wrap, and a glider.
  • The collaboration files will be decrypted tomorrow while the skins will arrive in the Item Shop 2-3 days later.

It is fairly easy to join the dots now. A Kaws x Fortnite collaboration is imminent and Peely is the ‘well-known’ character who will receive a skin style. Having said that, the release date of the skin is still uncertain.

Considering that Peely already has a skeleton style (Peely Bone), it will be interesting to see how Kaws has redesigned the character this time. It is worth noting that according to the lore, Peely is not a single character but a tribe.
