100 of the best Fortnite players competed in the duo portion of the Secret Skirmish tournament on February 14, with Ghost Gaming’s “Saf” and Rise Nation’s “Ronaldo” claiming the victory royale.

Tens of thousands of viewers tuned in to watch the Fortnite Battle Royale Secret Skirmish, which is being held on February 14-15 at an undisclosed location.

All duos were selected at random so the competition was spread evenly.

Ghost Saf and Rise Ronaldo were able to scoop up 16 points, which earned them first place and $27,000.

The top three duos were full of Ghost Gaming players with Ghost Thwifo and JTruth in second, and Ghost Dmo and FaZe Clan’s Tfue in third, respectively.

Here was the scoring format that all players followed:

  • Victory Royale: 3 Points
  • 2nd-3rd Place: 2 Points
  • 4th-10th Place: 1 Point
  • 7+ Eliminations: 3 Points
  • 5-6 Eliminations: 2 Points
  • 3-4 Eliminations: 1 Point

The event started out with a strong performance by the crowd favorite duo of Dmo and Tfue, as the pair closed out the first match with 11 eliminations and a Victory Royale for 9 points.

Match two saw Ghost Gaming’s Bizzle take the Victory Royale with Team Reciprocity’s Triggysoars, and they took the lead over Dmo and Tfue with a score of 14-12, respectively.

The first half of the duo portion of the Secret Skirmish ended with a win by Gankstar’s Ceice, who won WSOE3 with Elevate.

The last three games of the Secret Skirmish were tight, as JTruth and Thwifo clawed their way up the leaderboard to third thanks to eliminations.

Game four was won by Eleven Gaming’s Anthony and his assigned duo, ClarityG, as they soared into sixth place.

Eleven Gaming was looking to make headlines with their overall performance, with BlooTea and NRG Esports’ Zayt climbing 27 spots with their game five win.

The sixth and final game for the duo portion of the Secret Skirmish was incredibly close, as there were four different teams with 10 points each, leaving room for anybody to finish strong and claim first.

Ghost Saf finished out the last match of the day with a victory royale, six-point performance as he mowed down tons of duos towards the end of the game.

Day 2 of the Secret Skirmish will kick off on February 15 with the main solo event offering a $400,000 prize pool.
