The Fortnite Season 5 Week 2 challenges are live. Here’s how to complete them.

Fortnite Season 5 is chugging along. Here’s how to complete all of the Week 2 challenges.

It looks like the first week of Season 5 challenges was too good to be true. Just when we thought that Epic had abandoned the specific, grindy challenges, they hit us with a list of new ones.

The Season 5 Week 2 challenges aren’t as bad as some of the ones we’ve had to complete in the past, but they aren’t as gameplay-focused as we thought they’d be.

Here are all of the weekly challenges for Season 5 Week 2:

These weekly Epic challenges will be available for the rest of the season. As was the case last week, there are also some legendary challenges that will only last for one week.

These challenges are staged and have you dealing 1500, 3000, 4500, 6000, and 7500 with legendary weapons. You can complete this challenge in Team Rumble, but it’s not a guarantee – especially with the removal of Upgrade Stations in Season 5.

Driving through Flaming Rings is one of those challenges we thought Season 5 would be dropping. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. The good news is that you only have to do it one time this week.

We have a separate guide covering the clues you need to find at Pleasant Park, Holly Hedges, and Lazy Lake. If you’re lucky enough, you can even complete this challenge in the same game that you drive a car through a Flaming Ring.

The car parts you need to find are, luckily, all located at Stealthy Stronghold, so you can take care of this one in a single game, as well.

Season 5 has been easier on the challenges so far, but they aren’t as simple as we originally thought they’d be. Good luck out there!

How to visit houses in Slurpy Swamp in the same match

One Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenge requires players to visit three houses in Slurpy Swamp in the same map. Here’s where to find them.

The Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenges are here. Take a look at where to find houses in Slurpy Swamp.

The Week 7 challenges for Fortnite Season 5 are relatively easy when you compare them to last week’s but there are s7till a couple of challenges that require some searching.

One of these has players looking for houses in Slurpy Swamp. At first glance, this challenge seems relatively easy – until you realize that the Slurpy Swamp POI is filled with factories.

This challenge requires you to leave the main POI and move south – more towards the Flush Factory area. Here are six locations that you can visit. Keep in mind, you only need to go to three of them.

As always, Team Rumble will offer you the best chance of success. Not only will you be relatively undisturbed in your search, but the 100% spawn rate of chests in this mode means you’re guaranteed to walk away with some loot.

You could complete this in any mode, as these houses typically offer a safe place to land. You’ll also have the benefit of free shields from the water surrounding Slurpy Swamp.

We have a full guide for all of these challenges here if you need it. We’ll be back next week with guides for the Week 8 challenges as well.

How to collect books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands

The Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenges are live. Here’s a guide to the most difficult challenge: collecting books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands.

Epic have been taking it easy on us this season, with only a handful of weekly challenges requiring us to search the map for specific items.

Unfortunately, the Season 5 Week 7 challenges include one of these, requiring you to collect books in Sweaty Sands and Holly Hedges. We did the leg work for you so you can get back to grabbing Victory Royales.

Fortnite Holly Hedges & Sweaty Sands book locations

There are three books in each location, but you only need to find five of them. Since Sweaty and Holly are near one another, you can easily complete this challenge in a single game of Team Rumble.

The book locations are as follows:

Holly Hedges

  • Ground floor of the yellow house in the northwest
  • The tall building in the southeast corner
  • The building in the northeast corner (dog house)

Sweaty Sands

  • The building next to the RV park
  • The bookshelf inside the tall apartment building
  • The building in the southeast corner
Fortnite book locations

Again, Team Rumble is the best way to complete this challenge if you want to get it out of the way. Of course, you can always land at these locations in a normal match, but that’s only making it more difficult for yourself.

You can take a look at the full list of Season 5 Week 7 challenges here. We’ll be back next week with another guide to all of the weekly challenges.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 is here. Take a look at all of the challenges and how to complete them.

Fortnite Season 5 is chugging along, but there’s still about two months left. The holiday break extended the latest season, so there’s still plenty of time to make your way through the Battle Pass.

The Week 7 challenges are relatively straightforward, with most of them able to be completed without too much effort.

A couple of these challenges will have you searching the same area in Slurpy Swamp, so a favorable bus path in Team Rumble will allow you to complete them in one shot. Here’s what you’ll need to do.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenges

The good news in the Week 7 challenges is that all of them can be completed in Team Rumble. We have a separate article detailing the locations of Books in Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands. You can find that here.

The Legendary challenge requires players to deal damage to opponents in Vehicles. This one is going to be a headache, as there’s no way to force another player to be inside of a car or boat when you shoot them.

Hopefully, you can get into a game of Team Rumble with like-minded enemies – sitting in Motorboats and trading shots with you. If not, it’s going to take some serious gaming to finish this one. Good luck!
