Fortnite Season 4 Week 7 Challenge guide

The Fortnite Season 4 Week 7 challenges are live. Here’s how to complete them.

on

Fortnite Season 4 Week 7 is here, bringing new challenges to complete as we work our way through the Battle Pass. Dedicated players who regularly complete there challenges should be close to the end of the Battle Pass by now, but there’s still a lot of XP to earn if you want to unlock all of the different skin variants.

Most of the challenges are relatively straightforward, this week. We don’t have to go searching for floating rings, at least. Of course, we do have to look for some Spiderwebs at The Authority.

Here are all of the challenges for Fortnite Season 4 Week 7:

  • Search Chests at Catty Corner (7)
  • Eliminations at Craggy Cliffs (3)
  • Enter the Vault in Doom’s Domain
  • Destroy Cobwebs at The Authority (3)
  • Discover Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory
  • Drive a car from Sweaty Sands to Misty Meadows in less than 4 minutes without getting out
  • Deal damage after knocking an opponent back with Storm’s Whirlwind Blast (1,000)
  • Deal damage to opponents at Coral Castle (500)

Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory

Anyone who has visited the new Stark Industries POI probably also knows about the Lake House to the north of the area. For many, it’s a safe place to land before challenging the massive number of players who land at Stark Industries every game.

This is where you’ll need to go for this challenge. Land at the Lake House, go inside, and break through the floor.

Deal damage after knocking an opponent with Storm’s Whirlwind Blast

This challenge should be straightforward for those who are familiar with the mythic hero abilities and where to find them. All you need to do is visit a Quinjet landing site, kill the Stark Robots, and shoot the drones flying in the air. With any luck, Storm’s Whirlwind Blast will fall out of one of them.

This challenge requires some luck and RNG to complete, but you should be able to find the ability you need after a few tries. From there, all you need to do is get close to an opponent, blast them backwards, and deal some damage. If you knock an opponent off of high-ground, the challenge will be that much easier.

The rest of these challenges are easy enough to complete on your own, with the exception of destroying cobwebs at The Authority. We have a separate guide for that challenge, which you can find here.

Hopefully, you’re able to complete these challenges after a few games of Team Rumble and normal Fortnite. Finishing all of the current Fortnite challenge should bring players close to level 100 if they aren’t there, already. Good luck!

How to complete the secret Fortnite ‘Most Wanted’ Challenge

How to complete the “Most Wanted” Fortnite challenge to earn a free 10,000 XP.

In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2, Epic introduced us to “secret” Fortnite challenges – challenges that weren’t listed but granted some sizeable XP. The initial questline involved the bears and gnomes of the island – fighting a secret battle in front of our eyes.

The two groups eventually bartered peace, but it looks like the gnomes are back to their old ways in Season 4. The leader of the group is acting as a street-level villain for the Marvel season of Fortnite, and players are tasked with foiling his plans before he can get them off of the ground.

In the last couple of weeks, players worked their way around the map, disarming some of the bombs that the gnomes had set in the “Downfall” secret challenge. Now that we’ve succeeded, we need to catch the culprit. The first step is visiting one of the Most Wanted posters scattered around the map

You can find one of these posters at The Shark, Camp Cod, and Hydro 16 (the building next to the dam). Each location shows a spraypainted mugshot of the evil gnome on a wall.

The Shark is the easiest place to visit. All you need to do is enter the mouth of the shark and look to your left. You’ll see the poster just outside of the Upgrade Station. At Camp Cod, the spray is located on the northeast corner of the island – just below a broken building. The general direction is similar at Hydro 16 – right above the dock.

The challenge grants you 10,000 XP but you can only activate it once, so you don’t have to visit all of these locations. Here they are, anyway, so you can visit whichever one is closest to your normal loot route.

This isn’t the last we’ve seen of the evil gnome in Season 4. The secret questline mirrors the plot evolution of a lot of superhero comics and movies – our heroes are dealing with some street-level criminals before Galactus, the cosmic threat, shows up.

It’s a creative way for Epic to integrate this secret challenge into the Season 4 story – and with a requirement of level 220 to unlock all of the foil skin variants, the challenge is worth completing.

Fortnite Season 4 Week 8 Challenge guide

The Fortnite Season 4 Week challenges are just around the corner. Here’s how to complete them.

Fortnite Season 4 is winding to a close as we enter the eighth week of challenges. Completing all of these challenges and regularly playing the game should get most players to level 100, but that’s only the start of the cosmetic unlocks, this season.

Players still need plenty of XP if they want to unlock all of the foil variants for the Battle Pass skins. You need to reach level 220 to unlock all of the Season 4 cosmetics, so it’s no time to slow down. Here are all of the challenge for Week 8 of Season 4:

  • Search Chests at Sweaty Sands (7)
  • Eliminations at Stark Industries (5)
  • Drive a car or truck through a rift (1)
  • Eliminate opponents while jumping or falling (5)
  • Headshot Doom Henchmen or Stark Robots (35)
  • Visit different Named Locations in a single match (5)
  • Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles (15,000)
  • Deal damage to opponents at Misty Meadows (500)

This list of challenges might be the easiest of the season. All you need to do is play normal games while focusing on landing in specific locations like Stark Industries, Misty Meadows, and Doom’s Domain.

There are two places where driving a car or truck through a rift is incredibly easy: the Taft Transport truck in the northwest portion of the map or at Ant Manor outside of Holly Hedges. The former is often left alone and always spawns a Big Rig and the latter allows you to quickly drive a vehicle from Holy Hedges into a rift.

Apart from this challenge, the only tough one will be eliminating players while falling. Of course, if you’re having an issue, Team Rumble is the best place to complete it. After that, you should be home free. Good luck!

How to find Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory location

Here’s where you need to go to visit Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory.

The Stark Industries POI might be the biggest map change that we’ve seen in Chapter 2 since Season 2, when Epic first introduced the mythic POIs. Instead of a new building or two, Stark Industries engulfs almost the entire northeast portion of the map.

This week, the challenges brought us back to this location – but not to Stark’s main headquarters. Instead, we’ll be traveling to his Lake House laboratory.

Those who frequently land at Stark Industries probably recognize this house, as it provides a safe landing spot to those who don’t want the 50-player chaos that is the main POI.

Once you land at the Lake House, all you need to do is enter through the bottom garage and finish your challenge. You can even go through the main building and break through the floor – the result is the same.

If you don’t already know where to go, then take a look at this video from YouTuber HarryNinetyFour. He’ll show you exactly where you need to land and how to get into the lab.

You can take a look at the rest of the challenges here if you haven’t completed them yet. Additionally, you should keep an eye out for the secret “Downfall” challenge. We have a guide for that one, as well.

Completing all of the weekly Fortnite challenges, a few dailies, and the secret questline should net you enough XP to reach level 100. This season offers some awesome enlightened skins, however, so you won’t want to skip any available XP. Good luck!
