It look like Overtime challenges have returned to Fortnite in Season 4 with a new name. This time, Epic are calling the list of late-season challenges “XP Xtravaganza.” The description of these challenges says it all: it’s a final push for players who want to unlock foil skin variants for their Season 4 outfits.
There’s a short list of challenges, this week, with only five available for completion. Each net you 20,000 XP as a reward, save for the last one which will grant 50,000. Here’s a list of the Season 4 Week 11 challenges:
- Deal damage with scoped weapons (500)
- Use superpowers to eliminate opponents (1)
- Use rifts (3)
- Upgrade weapons to Uncommon rarity (4)
- Visit all named locations in a single match (17)
Most of theses challenges are self-explanatory, with the most difficult one of the bunch being “Visit all named locations in a single match.” You’ll almost certainly need to complete this one in Team Rumble.
The rest of the challenges can be completed in Team Rumble or in regular matches. You need to go into a real game to upgrade weapons to Uncommon, at least, as weapons start off as Rare in Team Rumble.
We’ll likely have another short list of XP-focused challenges next week, so stay tuned for that. Otherwise, good luck getting as far as you can into your foil skins before the season ends!.
How to harvest buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations
One of the XP Xtravaganza Week 4 Challenges requires players to harvest buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations. Here’s how to do it.
Fortnite Season 4 is winding to a close, with the last batch of XP Xtravaganza challenges bringing us closer to the coveted level 220 – the threshold at which you will unlock all of the Season 4 Battle Pass foil skin variants.
Most of the challenges are relatively straightforward this week, but a couple will require a bit more information.
One of the XP Xtravaganza Week 4 Challenges requires players to “Harvest buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations.” This challenge, of course, refers to locations that have been in Fortnite since the last chapter.
There were only four locations that survived the Black Hole: Pleasant Park, Retail Row, Salty Springs, and Risky Reels – a returning location that left the game before Season X. Of those, only three are still standing in their original form.
Pleasant Park is still similar to its old Chapter 1 style, but Doctor Doom took it over during Season 5. We’re writing this before the challenges go live, but we don’t think that Pleasant will be included in this challenge. You’ll need to stick to Retail, Salty, and Risky to be safe.
Our advice would be to visit Retail Row and Risky Reels in Team Rumble. There are more RVs and busses in these locations than there are in Salty Springs, which means you’ll have a better chance of completing the challenge in one game.
Retail Row will probably be your best bet. You may even be able to finish the challenge by landing here without any competition.
Either way, you’ll need to stick to the “OG” Fortnite locations for this challenge. Is this a hint to what Season 5 will hold? Only time will tell.
Fortnite XP Xtravaganza Week 4 Challenge guide
Need XP before Season 4 ends? Here’s how to complete the Fortnite XP Xtravaganza Week 4 Challenges.
Galactus is less than a week away from arriving. Time is running out to complete the Battle Pass and hit the level 220 mark, unlocking all of the Season 4 skins’ foil variants.
Luckily, Epic is continuing to offer XP Xtravaganza Challenges, allowing players to earn a ton of XP before the season ends. Here’s the last batch of challenges we’ll need to complete before the season ends on December 1.
- Deal damage with Assault Rifles to opponents (1,000/2,500/10,000)
- Hit opponents with Boogie Bombs or Shockwave Grenades (1/9/15)
- Fish for items from a motorboat
- Fish for items from a motorboat and a Choppa in a single match
- Fish for items from a motorboat a Choppa, and a pickup truck bed in a single match
- Maintain full shield and health for 2/4/8 minutes in a single match
- Deliver a Small Truck from outside Upstate New York to Stark Industries
- Generate power for Stark Industries by riding zip lines to and from Upstate New York (3)
- Harvest Buses and RVs in native Fortnite locations (1)
- Release Slurp into the atmosphere (3)
- Boogie before oblivion (1)
- Eliminate opponents outside of Stark Industries, Misty Meadows, or Weeping Woods (15)
This list of challenges may be the most straightforward XP Xtravaganza missions to date, with the exception of a couple. For instance, we don’t know what “Boogie before oblivion” means, as we’re writing this article before the challenges go live.
We can only assume that this challenge has something to do with Galactus and may even be tied to the season-ending event next week. A better thought is that Galactus will become more visible on Thursday, giving a place to visit and dance to complete the challenge. Either way, we’ll let you know when we learn more.
Fishing out of a motorboat, chopper, and truck in one match is going to be annoying. There aren’t many tips that we can give you for this one since it can’t be done in Team Rumble (choppers don’t spawn, and trucks are rare). The best option may be to hit Stark Industries, grab the chopper, and fly to Heart Lake. This could easily end in your death, however.
Harvesting busses and RVs in “native” locations include places like Retail Row, Salty Springs, and Risky Reels. Doom’s Domain may count towards this as well, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t.
Hopefully, the last batch of XP Xtravaganza challenges is enough to get you to your seasonal goal. Good luck!
Fortnite Week 4 XP Xtravaganza Challenge guide
Fortnite XP Xtravaganza is back for Week 4. Here’s how to complete the new list of challenges.
Fortnite Season 4 is almost over, which means it’s your last chance to push through your final levels while you still can. Thankfully, Epic are making it a bit easier to hit that level 220 goal by adding some XP Xtravaganza challenges – the Season 4 version of Overtime.
This week, we’ll be doing some of the usual stuff: searching chests, eliminating opponents, and dealing damage. Here are all of the challenges that will go live on the morning of November 18.
- Deal damage with SMGs (1,000/2,500/5,000)
- Eliminate Stark Robots, Gatherers, or Gorgers (10/25/50)
- Search Chests/Ammo Boxes/Supply Drops (10 each)
- Collect materials (1,000/1,500/2,000)
- Dance on all five colored bridges in a single match
- Eliminate opponents (20)
Most of these challenges are relatively straightforward. You can complete most of them in Team Rumble, apart from eliminating Stark Robots, Gorgers, and Gatherers.
For this challenge, you should probably hit up the Quinjet Landing sights when they spawn around the map. These are the most reliable locations to find and eliminate Stark Robots – that and finding the Gorger spawns in each match.
Dancing on bridges is going to be a headache, but you can do this on in Team Rumble. Here’s an old map of the bridges from Season 2, but they’re all in the same location. Not much has changed in that regard.
Hopefully, this and the final week of challenges beings you to the coveted level 220: the point at which all of the Season 4 skins will be holographic. If not, you’ll be grinding some XP Coins to close out the season. Good luck!
