More Fortnite Season 2 leaks and information are pointing to Agent Meowscles.

Those who aren’t following the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 saga as closely as we are might not remember the Agent Meowscles leak from a couple of weeks ago.

When v11.50 first came out, data miners found some gold props in the Fortnite game files. Those props are now appearing around the center ‘Eye Land’ on the Fortnite map, as predicted.

Data miners also found a strange audio file titled “AgentMeowscles.” The file plays elevator music with a cat meowing underneath.

Data miners plugged this file into a spectrograph and uncovered an image. There were two cats and a dead fish. What does any of this mean?

No one really knew what this was. The presence of a cat and a fish led many to think that Epic was ‘catfishing’ us. They’ve trolled data miners in the past and even trolled us with the Rick Roll emote over the weekend.

Today, February 17, we got some more information that points to the existence of Mr. Meowscles. The first is the fact that Epic has been using the word ‘agent’ a lot.

Many of the phone recordings from the real-world billboards are mentioning some sort of agency and the second teaser was revealed to show the Chaos Agent.

On top of that, data miners found a cat in the Fortnite.com source code. As @Hypex points out, the image is very similar to a loading screen from Season 7.

But wait; that’s not all. Some internet detectives found that the artist behind a familiar skin concept posted to Reddit recently changed his banner on Twitter.

The artist created a ‘Buff Cat’ concept for the game. This isn’t some random fan, either. This is the artist behind the Rapscallion and Scoundrel skins.

The artist, @rexstylus, now has three cats lifting gold eights as his banner on Twitter. It’s unclear when he made this change, but fans noticed after the Season 2 teasers started flowing.

All of this could be a coincidence, but the convenient timing is adding up. We’ve now seen two Meowscles leaks along with the fact that the concept artist behind ‘Buff Cat’ appears to be in on the joke.

At this point, I’m willing to bet that Epic adds Agent Meowscles as a skin in Season 2. I’m also predicting that this will be either a tier 1 or 100 skin in the Season 2 Battle Pass.

The story of Agent Meoscles is just starting. Let’s see where it takes us.
