Fortnite pro player Zayn continues to get other streamers banned by playing with them. This time, Clix was the victim of playing with the banned Fortnite pro.

Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod of Misfits Gaming is the latest in a growing list of players to receive a ban on Twitch for playing with the banned streamer ‘Zayn.’ He has been banned from the platform for seven days.

Clix is one of the young, up-and-coming Fortnite streamers to hit the scene. At only 14 years old, the pro has accrued hundreds of thousands of dollars playing Fortnite in offline and LAN events – even placing 18th in the Fortnite World Cup Finals.

Clix, like Khanada before him, was banned from Twitch for playing with Zayn. Twitch prevents streamers from playing with banned players on their platform.

Last week, Khanada made the same mistake of playing with Zayn. Both streamers muted the banned player and changed his nickname, but this wasn’t enough to appease the Twitch staff.

Khanada received a three-day ban for his infraction, preventing him from streaming Week 2 of the Fortnite Champion Series with his squad, including Tfue and Cloakzy. Clix, however, received a seven-day ban.

This is Clix’s first infraction, so it’s strange to see Twitch take a stronger stand with him than they did with Khanada.

Clix has maintained that he will come back “stronger than ever” and that he will petition Twitch to reduce the ban.

This news comes at a time when more and more large Twitch streamers are jumping ship to other platforms. Shroud, Ninja, and CourageJD have all signed contracts with Mixer and YouTube.

It might push some of the smaller names to other platforms if Twitch continues to be so strict, heavy-handed, and seemingly irrational with their rules.

Many viewers and streamers have complained that Twitch enforces their rules unfairly. This was evident in the lifetime ban of Dellor while other streamers skate by with similar or worse behavior.

What do you think of Twitch and the most recent Clix ban? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Twitch need to stick to their rules more.
People who think they are special and rules don’t apply to them is what is wrong with the platform since often they are right.

  2. Twitch is actually retarded. It’s not like Zayn or Clix or Khanada went out of their way to circumvent rules to get Zayns voice on the platform after his ban. They are just going through the motions of playing with their teammate and friend.

So basically if your teammate or friend gets banned from Twitch, you have the choice to disown them, or disown the platform.

So glad YouTube and Mixer and even Facebook are starting to amp up and work on their own video game streaming platforms. Soon they will be interchangeable and one ban will cause a domino effect of players jumping ship.

  3. Zayn isnt a pro player never has placed nor has any team or org ever picked him up. People think because youre good at creative youre a “pro” player
