The Summer Block Party has come and gone with amazing victories from both the Creative Showdown and Pro-Am events. Let’s take a look at the winners and their prizes from the Pro-Am event!

While the Pro-Am events are much more lighthearted than the actual esports events, the competition was no less intense. The tournament had wild moments, incredible plays, and triumphant victors.

The good news for everyone who competed is that every walked away with at least $20,000 (for charities of their choice). The better news is that those who won received a whole lot more than that.

Final Pro-Am Placements – Top 10

The Pro-AM event saw celebrities, content creators, and pro players battling it out in Duos Fortnite. The event used the same points system as the Fortnite World Cup.

  • Victory Royale – 10 Points
  • 2nd – 5th – 7 points
  • 6th – 10th – 5 points
  • 11th – 15th – 3 points
  • Per Elimination – 1 point

The entire Pro-Am event was a grueling four match session with cumulative points.

Airwaks and RL Grime secured the win in the first match of the Pro-Am. This gave them an excellent head start in the competition and put them far ahead at 26 points.

As the event continued, big names like Cloakzy and Ninja were not performing to their typical standards. Keep in mind that this was not an official ‘esports’ event, but rather an invitational showcase for publicity and entertainment.

Ghost Gaming’s Aydan remained calm and composed as the young player took game two. The wildly talented superstar player managed to clutch out the match in a 1v1 against BuckeFPS.

The Pro-Am continued with a victory from Typical Gamer and Jimmy O. Yang. It proved to be crucial for their final placement in the Top 10.

As the final game of the event started up, Airwaks and RL Grime still held the lead at a whopping 40 points in three games. In the end, it all came down to a final 1v1 with Ghost Gaming’s Aydan once more.

Symfuhny managed to beat Aydan while trapped at low ground through superior gun skill. After the match concluded, it became evident that if Aydan had won the fight, he would’ve won the whole event.

But alas, due to Symfuhny’s 1v1 victory, Airwaks and RL Grime clutched out the event with 53 points in total. A single kill cost Aydan $500,000…wow.

You can also see the prize pool split for the event below. All duos that are not listed here received $20,000 for their efforts. That’s not bad at all. All of the money will be given to charities of the players’ choices.
