The Grotto offers one of the more rewarding spots to land – provided that you can survive Brutus. This player found a new way to stick the landing.

Fortnite is an ever-evolving game that gives players the tools to do nearly everything they want. Sky bases, box towers, trick plays – they’re all a part of playing the game.

The Grotto presents one of the more unique and rewarding POIs in Fortnite. It’s underground with several different entrances. You can go through the new skull, through the helipad entrance, or through the air vent that shoots you into the sky.

One player decided to use nearly all of these at once. Raygud uploaded a clip to the FortniteBR subreddit showing a trickshot-style entrance to The Grotto.

They started by bunny-hopping off of the cable tower, flying out of the vent, and landing on the outer building before finally jumping down the helipad entrance and landing in the chopper.

This is one of the more innovative entrances that you could have into The Grotto, and it was completed in a public Fortnite match. I wonder how many times raygud tried this before pulling it off.

I don’t suggest you enter The Grotto this way, however. Another player tried it and things went about as well as you might expect.

Is this a practical way to land at The Grotto? Not in the slightest. Still, it’s pretty cool to watch.

With the Coronavirus lockdown pushing more players into video games, it will be interesting to see what other innovative landing maneuvers people come up with.
