Players have constantly been asking for a revamp to the Fortnite editing system, and this concept might be the best option yet.

For as long as Fortnite has been around, players have questioned how the building and editing systems are implemented in Battle Royale.

Editing, especially in low-ping situations, can be incredibly difficult for players that need to possibly keep up with their higher-ping counterparts.

At the time of writing, there are only a handful of editing options in Fortnite for players to use which can be pretty limiting in certain situations. If there were more editing options, games could be much different.

This new concept, posted by coreythedesigner on Reddit, would be a ‘Five Tile’ system that could give an endless number of possible editing options.

You can view the entire concept below:

As you can see above, this ‘Performance Editor’ concept could really change the entire landscape of how builds are created.

Along with just the regular building formats, this concept would also include new Complexity Scoring system which would include clicks, sweep, pivots, and tiles.

Many community members believe the current Fortnite Battle Royale editing system is somewhat redundant and could use a fresh change.

Yet, even if such a change was implemented, people would still probably have an issue with it. Regardless, there has been no official word from Fortnite regarding this change.
