Fortnite has vaulted a ton of items since the earliest seasons of the game, and this concept would give them a place to show them off.
The best working title is “Musty Museum” and it could be placed in the desert to give that area a new POI after it has been mostly ignored for the last two seasons.
The goal would be to have different halls and exhibits for each of the key areas that are no longer in Fortnite.
The idea for this concept came from Boppity-Boopity and garnered a lot of support on Reddit.
One wing would have the old weapons like the Drum Gun and even the mythical Zapotron on display.
Another wing would be dedicated to vehicles like the shopping carts and planes. Mobility items like the Jetpack could also be included here as the vehicle exhibit would be the most sparse of all the wings of the museum.
Moving on would be artifacts from old destroyed locations. Risky Reels’ theatre screen and Greasy Grove’s basketball hoop, those types of things.
The final section would commemorate past events. The Kevin the Cube display, the Marshmello display, and the Ice King display would fill up this wing quickly.
Right now, compared to most games, Fortnite is in its infancy. The Battle Royale portion of the game has only been out for about a year and a half.

So assuming the game continues it’s lifespan and exists for much longer, having something on the map that commemorates everything that has happened will give new players something to look back on and will trigger nostalgia in old players.
Right now, it’s pretty easy to think back on all the different Fortnite seasons, but will that be true in Season 24 in 2022? Probably not.
Brilliant Fortnite concept fixes storm camping with Floppers
This Fortnite concept nerfs the effectiveness of fish in the storm, a perfect middle-ground to prevent storm camping
Floppers and Slurpfish are two of the most powerful healing items in all of Fortnite. Anyone who plays, follows, or watches competitive Fortnite knows that no player is comfortable unless they have a stack of Floppers ready for end-game.
It’s to the point where players would rather carry Slurpfish and Floppers over weapons. In fact, it’s actually smart to sit in the storm, tank damage, heal with fish, and get some picks from the blindside.
Floppers have made storm camping far too viable in Chapter 2. It’s been an issue in every competitive event, and something that will probably need a second look in Season 3. This doesn’t seem to be the way that Epic intended Fortnite to be played.
This Fortnite concept addresses the issue with a logical in-game mechanic: Rotten Fish. The concept makes fish go rotten while in the storm, losing effectiveness over time.
After seven seconds, a Flopper will heal for 35. After 10 seconds it will heal for 20 and after 12 seconds it will heal for 10. These numbers could be tweaked and balanced but the idea is a strong one.
This concept, if implemented, could keep Floppers and Slurpfish in the game while eliminating the prevalent storm camping that you’ll find in nearly every competitive match. We think it’s a brilliant middle-ground.
Epic should strongly consider something like this in Season 3. Fishing is an integral and interesting part of Fortnite Chapter 2. We shouldn’t lose the entire mechanic because of storm campers in competitive games. In our opinion, this is the most logical, practical, and easiest fix. It’s the best of both worlds.
This concept is an interesting way to bring Traps back to Fortnite
Many Fortnite players are asking for traps to return to the game. Here’s one concept that will bring them back.
The removal of Spike Traps in Fortnite Season 2 was a controversial decision. Players who were in favor of the change rejoiced that low-skill players wouldn’t get easy trap kills. On the other hand, there’s no punishment for jumping into someone’s box in Season 2.
After an entire season with no traps, Fortnite players are, largely, asking for their return. At the very least, they’re a deterrent to mindlessly pushing an opponent. Most players would like the traps to come back in a nerfed form, however. 150 damage seems a bit too steep.
One Fortnite player, u/pananikid, posted a concept to the r/FortniteBR subreddit. This concept would nerf trap damage to 75 but would include some improvements to them, as well.
This concept would allow you to claim all of your opponent’s traps once you kill them. That way, you won’t die if you eliminate an opponent before the trap deploys – a common complaint of the old trap mechanics.
Additionally, the new trap will reveal enemy locations, just like the Proximity Mines that were added in Season 2. This would help balance the lack of trap damage with more utility, making them equally useful.
In our opinion, this is a brilliant change to traps in Fortnite. Not only does it nerf the amount of damage that they do, but it keeps them useful with the ability to see an enemy’s location.

On top of that, the ‘claim’ feature is one that players have been requesting for a long time. Hopefully, something like that isn’t too difficult to implement – we’re not developers, after all.
These Fortnite suggestions finally make the emoticons significant
A lot of players want more of a use for Fortnite emoticons. These suggestions make the cosmetic item significant.
Emoticons are just above sprays as the most forgotten form of cosmetics in Fortnite. Epic made banners significant with the Banner Brigade item set, but emoticons have been lost in the endless seas that are our lockers.
There are a few emoticons that get some attention. The clown, GGs, and toilet paper get thrown out there once in a while. Each season adds another five or so emoticons to our locker, however; most of which will never get used.
There are two suggestions on the r/FortniteBR subreddit that can make emoticons more significant. One suggestion builds off of the other, so we’ll start with the simpler one: adding emoticons next to your name.
This way, you can display your emoticon in-game and in the lobby, similar to how the Banner was before Epic added the Banner Brigade cosmetic items.
Another Fortnite player saw this concept and expanded upon it. You could equip an emoticon to put on display, and then use the emoticon while you get rebooted in-game.
As a teammate is rebooting you, your chosen emoticon will appear on top of the Reboot Van. This won’t just look cool; it will tell you which player is getting rebooted first when a teammate is carrying multiple cards.
These suggestions give emoticons a use in Fortnite. Outside of the few that we mentioned, you’ll hardly see a player using an emoticon after an elimination or win.
Now, all that’s left is to give sprays some significance. They were cool when they came into the game, but have been designated to the forgotten tab of the Locker. Let’s solve one problem at a time, though.
