A Fortnite data miner has found a leaked glider in the Fortnite game files. It could be a sign of things to come.
We’re only a day away from the Fortnite v11.50 patch and fans are excited and nervous as to what’s next for the game.
The shift to the Unreal Chaos Physics engine could be the biggest change in Fortnite since turbo-building entered the game. As of now, people are split as to whether or not the new engine will be good or bad.
Fortnite data miner @Hypex has found something in the game files that might have a bit of significance in relation to the new engine. He found a “Nuke” glider, which may correspond to what will happen when structures get destroyed after v11.50.
We still don’t know what will happen after v11.50. All we know is that the changes are substantial enough to encourage Epic to use the v11.40 build during the upcoming DreamHack tournament.
All we know is that the new engine gives Fortnite the capability to destroy structures. A wall will be able to crumble rather than disappear, for instance.
We don’t know whether or not this is what will happen, but we know that the new engine will allow it to take place – if Epic so chooses.
Could the Nuke glider be a sign of things to come? Only time will tell. We’ll wait to see if it’s included in the v11.50 leaked cosmetics once Hypex and others get their hands on the new files.
For now, all we can do is wait and speculate. What do you think the new patch will bring. Let us know in the comments and on Twitter @FortniteIntel.
