Fortnite leak reveals details about the Season 5 end event

As this season ends and Fortnite Season 6 begins, new event leaks reveal what could be in store for us at the end of Season 5.

Fortnite Zero Point

Fortnite Season 5 is nearly over, and new leaks are showing us what to expect as far as a season-ending event that will lead into Season 6.

Season X is here, and the world is destabilizing, fast!

As Season 5 winds down, the exposed Zero Point is becoming more and more dangerous. Following the v15.50 update, players noticed that the Zero Point is now extending to all of the portals on the island.

According to leaks, however, this is only the beginning of what’s about to happen. Fortnite data miners have found files relating to the season-ending event, which could have a major effect on the island.

Fortnite Season 5 end event

Epic Games have been regularly giving us season-ending events since the first event more than two years ago. With so much activity happening on the island in Season 5, it’s safe to assume that we’ll be getting another one when the season ends on March 15.

We should be getting a fair amount of build-up before the event takes place, which was what data miners found when they dug into the v15.50 game files.

The first effect that should be coming soon relates to the NPCs around the island. According to data miner, Mang0e, the NPCs will be “teleported to wacky places by the Zero Point.

It’s safe to assume that some of the NPCs will be removed from their traditional locations and sent somewhere, well, wacky. Players have already begun posting screenshots of some NPCs walking out in the open – far away from where they should be.

Another data miner, FortTory, found some files that suggest that our audio will be distorted by the Zero Point. In-game communications may begin to sound strange as you get closer.

This effect seems to be coming in the future. We tested voice-comms around the Zero Point and haven’t seen any changes yet.

Some players are speculating that these pulses or “mini-events” could take the place of a major, season-ending event. We would be surprised if this was the case, but we’ve seen a few seasons end without events in the recent past.

Of course, we’ll be keeping an eye on data miners and the Zero Point ahead of the scheduled end to Season 5 on March 15. You’ll be the first to know if we learn more.

Epic Games has announced the Rainbow Royale, an in-game event meant to celebrate the Fortnite LGBTQIA+ community.

Fortnite wants players to know that everyone is welcome aboard the Battle Bus, and as such, it is throwing an in-game celebration for a portion of its community. The event is called Rainbow Royale, and Epic Games invites everyone to see what’s happening in-game and beyond during this celebration.

To start, Epic Games is giving away free cosmetic items that represent the Fortnite LGBTQIA+ community. As well, various LGBTQIA+ musical artists are featured on the in-game radio when driving vehicles. There are also new Creative Mode items that add a splash of color to any player’s build.

Free Cosmetic Items

For the next week, Fortnite’s Item Shop will have six free items that players can claim and gift to friends. These Rainbow Royale cosmetics can be used to support diversity as well as battle in style. Players will have to manually purchase the items, but they are all listed at a price of 0 V-Bucks.

The free Rainbow Royale cosmetics include the Take A ‘Bow emote, Wild Rainbow Wrap, and four sprays. The sprays are colored to represent a wider spectrum of the Fortnite LGBTQIA+ community.

Fortnite Taco store opening in Los Angeles for a limited time

Epic Games is opening an IRL Fortnite taco store in Los Angeles for a limited time in partnership with LeBron James.

How to stop taco time at greasy grove

A Fortnite taco store is opening in Los Angeles, California for a limited time starting on July 20.

Taking a page out of the Mr. Beast playbook, it seems that Epic Games will be opening its own restaurant. However, it won’t be a lasting part of their brand. Instead, this Fortnite taco store will only be around for a few days before it’s gone forever.

This isn’t the first time that Epic Games has brought its massively popular Battle Royale into the real world. Close to the start of Chapter 1 Season 5, iconic symbols from the game started appearing in the real world. And a week before Chapter 2 Season 7, crop circles and billboards advertised the alien-themed season.

When and where to get Fortnite tacos

LA Eater reported that LeBron James would be hosting a pop-up taco store in partnership with Fortnite. The restaurant would be called El Rey’s Taco Tuesday and will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 20. It will also be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 21, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 22.

Each day, the Fortnite taco store will move to a different location in Los Angeles. On Tuesday it will be at 8175 Melrose Avenue. On Wednesday it will be in West Hollywood. And on Thursday, the address is listed as 90046.

LA Eater also reports that the event (including food) will be free for all who attend. The pop-up stores will also feature items, decor, and food inspired by Fortnite. Promotional material and footage of one of the restaurants were found online today and can be seen below.

This type of advertisement isn’t something Fortnite has ever done before. Sure, Epic Games has hosted IRL puzzles and has posted real people in the middle of the desert to guard a giant burger statue. But it’s never opened a physical establishment and invited the world to lunch.

Fans are already speculating that attendees will receive codes for free in-game goodies, while others believe that LeBron James will be in attendance. We don’t know for sure what will come of this event, but the grand opening of El Rey’s Taco Tuesday is only a day away.

Fortnite’s annual Summer celebration is back, and it’s offering a ton of free rewards. Here are all of the Fortnite Cosmic Summer challenges and rewards.

The Fortnite Cosmic Summer Celebration was advertised as a welcoming party for the aliens. The same aliens that stole the Zero Point and are now abducting players. However, there are still some inhabitants on The Island who believe the aliens are good.

Regardless, players can participate in the summer festivities to earn free rewards. Similar to Fortnite’s Winter events, new challenges will unlock daily for players to complete. The Summer event is meant to last for two weeks, so Epic Games is stretching out the quests to last just as long. Players will want to complete these challenges to unlock some pretty sweet rewards.
