Fortnite leak points to Golf Carts, Driftboard & more returning vehicles

A new Fortnite leak points to the return of some fan-favorite vehicles, including the Baller, Driftboard, and more.

Some of the old vehicles from Fortnite Chapter 1 could be coming back to the game, according to recent Fortnite leaks.

Ever since the Shopping Cart back in the early days of Fortnite, Epic have been experimenting with new vehicle types to bring to the game. These vehicles have ranged from the entertaining and useful Driftboard to the broken and overpowered BRUTE.

Many of these vehicles – such as the Baller, Golf Cart, and Quad Crasher – have a special place in the heart of many players. We’ve been asking for some of these vehicles to return since Chapter 2 began, but Epic have been focusing on new content.

Cars, Motorboats, and Helicopters have populated the Chapter 2 map instead of any returning vehicles from “Old Fortnite.” According to a leak from FNBRUnreleased, however, that may change in the future. In a series of tweets, the data miner confirmed that Ballers, Driftboards, and Golf Carts had all been updated in the game files.

Of course, this could be related to an LTM, but we highly doubt that these vehicles would receive an update that only affects Creative Mode. We expect to see them in the game in some form or another.

We already saw the return of the X4-Stormwing during the Operation Snowdown event. At the time of writing, the plane is also enabled for the Air Royale LTM. We could see something similar with these returning vehicles.

Our best guess would be that these vehicles will return during Season 6. If you remember, we heard a lot of information in Season 4 that we thought we’d see in that season. As it turned out, most of those leaks revealed Season 5 information.

When you combine this with the leaked mod slots, it’s safe to assume that we’ll be getting a lot of this new content in the next Fortnite season. If and when these vehicles return to the game, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Fortnite leak points to NPC drivers & boss vehicles

A new Fortnite leak suggests we could see NPC drivers and/or vehicle bosses come to the game in Fortnite Season 6.

A new Fortnite leak points to NPC drivers coming to the game along with possible vehicle bosses we could eliminate for loot.

Fortnite is one of the most constantly evolving games in the industry. Season 5 was drastically different from Season 4, which was drastically different from Season 3. We’re getting close to Fortnite Season 6, and the rumors are already swirling.

From all of the information that we have, it looks like Season 6 is going to focus more heavily on vehicles. We’ve already seen leaks about vehicle mods coming to the game, along with a Gas Flopper that could be related to fuel rather than – well, stink.

Whiplash car Fortnite leak points to vehicle bosses

The latest leak comes from an AI spawner in the game files that went overlooked by a lot of data miners. Mang0e, one of the Fortnite data miners, suggested that these spawners could relate to NPC drivers and even vehicle-based bosses we’ll need to take down.

These bosses could be trucks, helicopters, boats, planes, or any other vehicle we’ve seen in Fortnite. Something like this would be a natural evolution of the bosses and AI enemies – such as the Marauders, Gorgers, and IO Guards.

With Season 5 winding to a close, we probably won’t see any of these new vehicle features until Season 6. Of course, this is only speculation anyway. These files could relate to something completely different – or only be a test asset from the developers.

Fortnite leak points to potential Family Guy crossover

New Fortnite leaks suggest that Peter Griffin from Family Guy could be coming as the next Season 5 crossover skin.

Fortnite Family Guy Crossover

Fortnite Season 5 has no shortage of big-name crossovers. New leaks now have fans speculating about a possible crossover with the hit show Family Guy.

The latest Fortnite season has brought characters from video games, films, and TV to the island and to the Item Shop. Just when you think that Epic have delivered the biggest crossover possible, they surprise fans with another one.

Street Fighter was the latest crossover to come to Fortnite, with the skins still in the Item Shop at the time of writing. This fact doesn’t stop fans from speculating about what’s coming next.

Fortnite data miner, @GMatrixGames, found some images in the game files related to an unreleased skin. These images showed Peter Griffin from Family Guy, dancing with Brian and fighting the Giant Chicken. Naturally, this makes fans think that Peter will be coming to Fortnite before the end of the season.

This recent leak fit with another leak regarding an XL skin. Data miner, @Mang0e, tweeted about an XL skin coming to the game. Peter would fit this mold quite well.

Originally, Mang0e said that Thanos was the only XL skin in the game files. We thought that Epic may be releasing Thanos as a playable skin – a move that makes sense but isn’t nearly as exciting as the prospect of playing Fortnite as Peter Griffin.

We’re all very excited to see a Fortnite X Family Guy crossover, but this is only speculation. We can’t get our hopes too high until we hear an official teaser from Epic.

We could see a lot of cosmetic opportunities here, with multiple skins and Stewie or Brian as Back Bling. While you wait for more news, make sure to follow us on Twitter @FortniteINTEL. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything about Fortnite’s next crossover.

Fortnite leak points to potential Thanos skin in Season 5

A new leaks suggests that Thanos could return to the game as a bounty hunter skin before the end of Fortnite Season 5.

Fortnite Thanos skin

Fortnite Season 5 is the season of crossovers. One new leak suggests that the next crossover could return to Fortnite’s first-ever collaboration, bringing a Thanos skin to the game.

Fortnite players probably haven’t thought of Thanos in a long time, but he was the centerpiece of the first-ever Fortnite crossover event. Epic Games teamed up with Marvel Studios to release the first Fortnite X Avengers crossover before the release of the highly-anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.

Back then, before the days of LTMs, we had the Infinity Gauntlet fall from the sky in the base Fortnite mode, allowing players to transform into Thanos and destroy the lobby. This was the original version of the Infinity Blade.

The next year, before Endgame released, Epic had another Avengers crossover – this time with an LTM attached. Both modes were generally well-received by the Fortnite community.

Since then, we’ve seen countless skins and crossovers added to Fortnite. This season, Chapter 2 Season 5, has presented more crossovers than ever before.

We’ve also started to get larger skins than we had back in the day. Rippley, Big Chuggus, and other Fortnite skins have broken the mold by offering larger, buffer outfits.

This has led a lot of players to wonder, why we never got a Thanos skin. Well, new leaks suggest that this could be a possibility in Season 5

. According to Fortnite data miner, Man0e, an animation for an extra-large male skin was added to Fortnite in v15.40. “Oddly enough though,” he wrote, “the only XL male skin that currently exists is Thanos.”

Of course, we don’t know whether or not this skin will be Thanos, but the addition of the Titan would make a lot of sense. Season 5 has had more crossovers than any season, and we could see Epic bringing him back as a Bounty Hunter.

What’s more, adding a Thanos skin is now possible, thanks to the several other XL skins we already have. Thanos wouldn’t need to be much bigger than Big Chuggus or Rippley.

This is only speculation and we won’t know more until the next patch or until Epic release an official teaser. Fingers crossed that Thanos makes his way back to Fortnite by way of the Item Shop.
