The Fortnite Operation Snowdown event is live. Here’s where to find all of the Holiday Tree locations for the Day 2 challenge.
Day 2 of the Fortnite Operation Snowdown event requires players to dance at five different Holiday Trees. As a reward, players will receive the Snowmando spray.
The reward for this particular challenge might not be the best one of the event, but it’s an easy challenge to complete if you’re looking to get the two free skins from the event.
You can find Holiday Trees in the following locations:
- Holly Hedges
- Salty Towers
- Pleasant Park
- The Orchard
- Craggy Cliffs
- Dirty Docks
These trees are all relatively obvious when you visit each location, and you can easily complete this challenge in a game or two of Team Rumble.
The Salty Towers tree is a good place to start since it’s a central point on the map and prone to destruction soon after other players land there.
You’ll also see one to three chests spawn underneath each tree, making it a great place to land if you’re playing Solos. Good luck!
How to don the disguise and strike 3 resonant crystals at The Spire
The Fortnite Spire challenges for Season 6 will have you searching for a disguise and resonant crystals at The Spire.
The next stage in the Fortnite Season 6 Spire quests requires players to don the disguise and strike 3 resonant crystals at The Spire. Here’s how.
The Fortnite Season 6 Spire challenges aren’t a part of the normal weekly challenge schedule, but still offer players a ton of XP for reward. If you don’t already know, these challenges require you to interact with some of the Season 6 characters and complete missions for them over the course of the season.
One of the challenges requires you to don a disguise and strike three resonant crystals at The Spire. Here’s what you need to do.
The crystals are relatively easy to find. They give off an audio cue when you get close to them. First, however, you need to find the disguise, which is located in the southwestern corner of The Spire.
If you take damage, the disguise will go away, meaning you’ll need to clear the area before attempting this challenge. As always, Team Rumble is probably your best bet for reliably completing this challenge.
Here’s a video from YouTuber, HarryNinetyFour, that will give you all of the crystal locations at The Spire. Again, the toughest part is finding the disguise, which is also included in the video.
Of course, you’ll need to have complete all of the other Spire challenges before you unlock this one. You can find guides to all of those below:
- Collect Artifacts for Tarana
- Thief and Last Log locations
- Collect a Cult Artifact from the Spire
- Collect a Cult Talisman
- Collect 3 Chicken feathers, a Boar Tusk, and a Wolf claw
Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 challenge guide
The Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 challenges and quests are here. Take a look at how to complete all of them and gain XP for the Battle Pass.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 5 is here. Take a look at all of the quests for this week and how to complete them.
It seems like just yesterday that Fortnite Season 6 was released, but we’re already over a month into the latest season. The Week 5 quests are about to go live, and we got an early look thanks to data miners in the community.
Ahead, we’ll list all of the challenges for Season 6 Week 5 and give you some tips on how to complete them. Let’s get into it.
Fortnite Season 5 Week 6 Quests
- Deal damage with SMGs (1000)
- Search ammo boxes (5)
- Use a campfire (1)
- Modify vehicles with off-road tires (3)
- Drive from Sweaty Sands to Colossal Crops without leaving the vehicle (1)
- Maintain a speed of 65 or greater for 4 seconds in a vehicle (1)
- Get 2 seconds of airtime in a vehicle (2)
These challenges are all self-explanatory, especially with the map markers for the Sweaty Sands to Colossal Crops quest. You’ll have to find a pretty big jump to get 2 seconds of airtime in a car, but you could always build that for yourself.
Of course, we suggest completing these quests in Team Rumble. All of them will be available in this mode, with the only exception being the Legendary Quest,
The Legendary Quest for Week 5 requires players to collect Gold Bars. As always, this is a staged quest with rewards every 1,000 Bars until you reach 5,000.
The best way to do this one is to talk to every NPC, take every bounty and quest, and destroy every piece of furniture you pass. It will take a fair bit of playtime to reach 5,000 Gold Bars in one week, but that’s the point of these quests.
We’ll be back next week with another challenge guide, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, make sure to follow us on Twitter @FortniteINTEL so you never miss out on any of the latest Fortnite news.

Fortnite Season 6 Week 4 challenge guide
The Fortnite Season 6 Week 4 challenges are almost here. Take a look at everything you need to do for the most XP.
The Fortnite Season 6 Week 4 challenges are here. Take a look at all of the requirements and how to complete the quests.
Another week, another list of challenges for players to complete as they work their way through the Season 6 Battle Pass.
This week, we’ll be playing with the new Recycler, dealing damage with Primal weapons, interacting with wildlife, and much more. Let’s get into it.
Season 6 Week 4 Quests
- Set structures on fire (10)
- Search chests (7)
- Eliminate opponents with weapons of Rare rarity or higher (3)
- Shockwave wildlife using a Shockwave Grenade or Bow (1)
- Tame animals in different matches (3)
- Deal damage to opponents with the Recycler (1000)
- Revive a teammate (1)
The challenges for the week are relatively easy, as most of them can be completed in Team Rumble. Taming and Shockwaving animals are as easy as finding them and making sure you have some Shockwaves on you, but you’ll need to do this in normal modes, as wildlife doesn’t spawn in Team Rumble.
The Recycler, which is the newest weapon added to Fortnite, can be found all across the map. It always seems like Epic jack-up the spawn rate on new weapons, as the Recycler has been easy to find since its release. It might take a while to deal 1,000 damage, though.
Setting structures on fire is easily done with a Gasoline Canister or Firefly Jar. If you hit a build battle with one of these, most of the wood will go up in flames.
The Legendary challenge of the week has players dealing damage with Primal weapons. These weapons include the Primal Bow, Primal SMG, Primal Shotgun, and Primal AR. You get any of these by looting or upgrading Makeshift weapons to Primal weapons by using bones.
The Primal Shotgun is widely considered to be the most overpowered weapon in the game right now, so it’s probably your best outlet for reliable Primal damage. You’ll need to deal 12,500 damage to complete all stages of the Legendary quest, so it’s a good idea to grab as many Primal weapons as you can carry.
