Epic Games appear to be ramping up towards some fresh map changes at Risky Reels in Fortnite Chapter 2 and a first-look of those tweaks has been revealed by data miners.

If you weren’t aware already, Fortnite’s developers do like to mix it up every so often by adding new content where possible – with the introduction of a brand new map at the start of Season 1, new weapons and more.

However, it’s been one of the game’s most popular and longest standing locations – Risky Reels – that has been on the tip of many fans’ tongues of late.

The landing spot, which features a huge television screen and vehicles crowded around to watch it, is a proper drive-in cinema. With that being said, though, there’s a chance that the way it looks might be about to change with the arrival of a new ‘Galileo’ event.

While a number of details were leaked back in mid-November, with Lucas7yoshi claiming we could see it get underway to mark New Year celebrations, an image of the location’s layout has finally surfaced.

Let’s take a look.

As you can see, there’s still many elements of the original design, but one striking difference that can be noticed (barely, because of how strange the leaked graphic looks), is the presence of some new trucks.

These trucks were previously leaked by dataminer HYPEX, who first leaked them on November 20 alongside some still shots of the destination. Each image seems to show the vehicles ordered in a different way.

This event is still yet to be announced by Epic Games, but you have to feel that they won’t miss an opportunity to put on a show for New Year’s Day.

With a festive celebration already lined up for Fortnite Battle Royale players, what will they have in store for us at Risky? Well, we’ll have to wait and see.
