Fortnite Season 6’s second Wild Week has started, and it’s putting a huge emphasis on fishing. Fishing can be a great way to get healing items and weapons, and the Fish Fiesta Wild Week will make it easier than ever.
The first Wild Week started during Season 6 week 8. It put a heavy emphasis on flammable weaponry and introduced the Flare Gun back into the loot pool. While also challenging players to destroy hundreds of structures with fire, it also forced players to use hard mats over wood.
Now, wild week two is here and it’s not nearly as destructive. The Flare Gun has been removed, Flame Bows aren’t as prevalent, and Firefly Jars have been taken out of chests. On the surface, Fish Fiesta Wild Week might seem tame compared to last week. However, the buffs to fishing will change how Fortnite is played for the next week.
Fish Fiesta Wild Week bonuses
The Fish Fiesta Wild Week makes several changes to emphasize fishing. The first is increasing the Fishing Spot spawn rate making them more prevalent. Fishing spots also have a minimum of 3 catches before closing and a maximum of 6.
Players are more likely to catch fish from Fishing Spots than anything else, and Rare fish are more likely to be caught. Weapons from Fishing Spots will only be Rare rarity or greater. And players don’t have to worry about Fishing Spots giving them ammo instead of something more valuable.
Lastly, Pro Rods will spawn more frequently from barrels and chests. This will allow players to catch even better loot from open waters and fishing holes. When taking a closer look at fishing week, this could have a major impact on gameplay.
The best way to get loot before Fish Fiesta Wild Week was by entering buildings and opening chests. However, with the increased rarity of weapons and heals, fishing is king for the next seven days. There’s no chance of getting grey or green weapons from fishing spots, and the healing fish are much faster than potions or bandages.
Players should expect hot drop locations to change from Pleasant Park and Retail Row to more aquatic destinations like Sweaty Sands, Lazy Lake, and Dirty Docks. It’s time to grab a pole, get fishing, and gear up.
Fortnite Season 8 live event date, time, countdown, and Chapter 3 Start
There will be a Fortnite live event for the end of Season 8. The start date and time for the event, and for Chapter 3 have been revealed.
Thanks to a recent leak, we now know when the Fortnite Season 8 live event will take place, and when Chapter 3 Season 1 starts.
Fortnite is known for its flashy and exciting live events. Whether they’re at the start of a season or the end of one, these events are a spectacle to behold.
These live events have evolved over time. They started with a live rocket launch in Chapter 1 Season 4. And now, players are taken on immersive trips in front of Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.
However, the most exciting events are the ones focused on the game’s storyline. The events that end seasons are among the most anticipated. And luckily, Season 8 has a Fortnite live event.
Will there be a Fortnite Season 8 live event?
Yes, there will be a Fortnite Season 8 live event. Epic Games officially announced the live event. According to promo artwork, the Season 8 event is called “The End” and will lead into Chapter 3.

The Black Hole boot-up screen from the end of Season X has also been updated multiple times this season. This means that there will likely be a lengthy downtime between Season 8 and Chapter 3.
Season 8 live event date and time
Th Chapter 2 Finale will take place on December 4, 2021, at 4 PM EST. Players will want to log in to Fortnite at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the event. This will ensure that players are able to reserve their spots.
This event will only take place once, so make sure not to miss it. As well, replays of the event will not be available so make sure you are recording during the event.
What will happen during Season 8 live event?
We don’t know for sure, but we can make educated guesses based on the story leading up to the end. Doctor Slone has been traveling to a secret IO facility on the map, and she is preparing for a great battle.
We also know that the Cube Queen is threatening The Island’s existence. She has made many remarks that she wants to end this reality, and the event will likely be a showdown between players, The IO, and the Cube Queen.
This battle will probably end with the Island being destroyed and players will return to a brand new map in Chapter 3. However, all of this is speculation and we have no idea what’s going to happen.
Fortnite Chapter 3 start date
Fortnite Chapter 3 will start sometime on December 7th according to leaker HYPEX. Epic Games will take the Fortnite servers offline immediately after the live event and players will return to the Black Hole screen they watched after Season X.
Downtimes usually last 3 – 4 hours, however, this one seems like it’s going to be a fair bit longer. The servers will remain offline for over 24 hours before players can hop into Chapter 3.

Is Fortnite Season 8 the end of Chapter 2?
Fans are starting to believe that Season 8 will be the end of Fortnite Chapter 2. Let’s take a look at all of the reasons this might be true.
Players are starting to believe that Fortnite Season 8 is the end of Chapter 2, but do their theories hold up?
To people who don’t play Fortnite, it may just seem like another Battle Royale. However, hardcore fans know that Fortnite has rich lore.
Fortnite uses unconventional storytelling to carry its narrative. While the goal of the game is to be the last player standing, The Island tells a story of its own. Fortnite has split its story into two chapters and splits those chapters into seasons.
Now, players believe that Fortnite’s second chapter is coming to an end. We will dive into context clues, cosmetic descriptions, and blog posts to see if Season 8 really is the end of Chapter 2.
Fortnite Crew Season 9 Description
A lot of players believe that a single line of text in the latest Fortnite Crew promo debunks the Chapter 3 theories. In the November 2021 Crew Pack, a promo image states players will have access to the Chapter 2 Season 9 Battle Pass.

However, only the in-game promo image references Chapter 2 Season 9. It doesn’t appear anywhere on the official blog post.
That being said, it is unlike Epic Games to reference a specific season if it does not plan to have that season. As well, Epic could have just said “Next Battle Pass” and left off “For Chapter 2 Season 9”.
Choice wording and coincidence points to Chapter 3
Now, let’s get into why players think Season 8 is the end of Fortnite Chapter 2. The first reason is the choice of wording Donald Mustard used in a tweet. He was expressing his excitement for Fortnite’s future.
In classic Mustard fashion, he stated that Chapter 2 Season 8, and the two after it are his favorite parts. Fans of Fortnite find it odd that he wouldn’t just say Seasons 9 and 10. This leads players to believe that the two chapters following Season 8 will be in Chapter 3.
As well, many players have analyzed videos from popular Fortnite content creators. Epic Games sometimes gives larger creators a heads up when it comes to drastic changes to the game. This time, theorists are pointing towards videos from SypherPK and TaborHill.
Both creators recently uploaded videos expressing why they think Chapter 3 will be here soon. But even more interesting is that both videos ended with the creators saying “Catch you on the flipside.” This could be a coincidence, but fans think it’s proof that Chapter 3 is coming soon.
Cosmetic descriptions and hotfixes hint at Fortnite Chapter 3
A recent hotfix updated the Blackhole that appeared at the end of Chapter 1. This fix readded the code that loads players directly into the Blackhole. The Blackhole has been updated frequently over the last couple of seasons, but is it time for the updates to be put to use?
As well, there are a bunch of new cosmetics from Chapter 2 Season 8 that make it seem as if this really is the end. We won’t go into all of them, but the tweet below from HYPEX shows all of the Chapter 3 clues.
Various fans have also noted that Fortnite Chapter 2 has already exceeded the length of Chapter 1. Adding two more Seasons after Season 8 would make Chapter 2 incredibly long.
But what do you think? Is Season 8 really the end of Fortnite Chapter 2, or is Chapter 3 two more seasons away? Let us know your thoughts on Twitter via @FortINTEL.

Fortnitemares 2021: New skins, weapons, and event schedule
Fortnitemares 2021 is finally here to celebrate the Halloween spirit. Players can enjoy new skins, new weapons, and new events.
Fortnitemares 2021 is finally here and it’s jam-packed with new Halloween content. Here are all of the new skins, weapons, and events featured during Fortnitemares 2021.
Each year, Epic Games celebrates Halloween by hosting the in-game Fortnitemares event. As you may have guessed, the event name is a blend of Fortnite and Nightmares. It’s the annual Halloween celebration inside of Fortnite.
This event features some of the best skins to come from Fortnite. These skins are usually timed exclusives meaning they won’t be back until the next Fortnitemares event. And Fortnitemares 2021 is no exception.
There are also new weapons and events during this year’s event. So, while Fortnite Season 8 may not be off to the hottest of starts, the Halloween season is sure to heat things up.
New Fortnitemares Skins
First off, there are a bunch of new skins coming to Fortnite this Halloween. According to one of the Fortnitemares tarot cards, Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead should be making an appearance.
As well, Frankenstein’s Monster, a classic Halloween creature, is coming to the Item Shop. He will be released along with Curdle Scream Leader, a horrifying addition to the Cuddle Team Leader line of skins.
There is also a new Renegade Raider skin that looks similar to Skull Trooper. And even Skull Trooper is getting a new golden variant.
But the biggest skin is scheduled to be released during week 3 of the Fortnitemares event. This is when the Season 8 Battle Pass mystery skin will be revealed.
New Halloween Weapons in Fortnitemares 2021
So far, we only know of one new weapon coming to Fortnite during the Fortnitemares event. The Dual Fiend Crossbows which were shown off in the Season 8 trailer have been released. However, they aren’t that great.
According to streamers like SypherPK, the crossbows feel more like a gimmick. They are meant to be used against the Sideways Monsters and fail to perform in PvP combat. Nonetheless, they are finally in Fortnite.
Weekly Fortnitemares Tarot Card Readings
Not much is happening on the Island yet, but there is still a lot to look forward to. Each week, four different tarot cards will be read which depict what is coming to Fortnitemares next.
There will be four weeks of four cards meaning players can look forward to 16 different tarot card readings. Players can also speculate what each card means as the backs of the cards have hints.
So, Fortnitemares 2021 may not have shrouded the island in purple fog, and players don’t respawn as ghosts. But there are a lot of neat cosmetics coming to Fortnite this Halloween season.
