The Machine Pistol is one of Fortnite’s most elusive weapons, and it’s officially been added to the game after several accidental appearances.
The Machine Pistol has a pretty interesting history as it’s been accidentally released a few times before. However, it’s now officially in the game to stay.
This part SMG part pistol was in Fortnite’s original release but was vaulted shortly after in v2.5. DuringChapter 1 Season X, the Machine Pistol was unvaulted for 30 minutes before returning to the shadow realm.
Then there were rumors that the Machine Pistol would make its official debut in Chapter 2 Season 2, but that never came to fruition. Instead, players were given the standard Submachine Gun.
The Machine Pistol finally arrives
In the February 8th, 2022 hotfix update, Epic Games added officially added the long-awaited Machine Pistol. This is another spray-type weapon with a ridiculous rate of fire and damage output.
This is a mid-to-long range weapon that comes is rarities from Common to Legendary. It can be found on the ground, in chests, Rare Chests, Supply Drops, and while fishing.
It’s better if fired in short bursts instead of rapidly like other SMGs. That’s because it has incredible accuracy for the first few shots, but its bloom increases over time.
It also packs a punch dealing a large amount of damage to both players and structures.
The Machine Pistol hasn’t been added to Competitive playlists yet. Epic Games states it is under a period of evaluation before being put into highly-competitive play.

Fortnite x Street Fighter: Blanka and Sakura skins, release date, and tournaments
Fortnite is once again crossing over with Street Fighter to bring the iconic fighters Blanka and Sakura to the battlefield.
Two more fighters from the iconic Street Fighter roster are making their way to Fortnite, and players will have a chance to fight for the Sakura and Blanks cosmetics during two upcoming tournaments.
In February of 2021, the first two Street Fighter characters made their debut in Fortnite. Ryu and Chun-Li are arguably the most iconic fighters from the Street Fighter series.
As such, their debut was a hit with many players favoring Chun-Li’s smaller visual design over Ryu’s bulky muscular figure. Despite seeing them hold firearms being a bit odd, they fit into Fortnite’s world perfectly.
Now, two more Street Fighter legends are joining the fight. Introducing the beast Blanka and martial arts expert Sakura.
Sakura and Blanka Fortnite cosmetics
Blanka is a green beast-man who has been in Street Fighter since its inception. As such, he’s got a lot of cosmetics coming to Fortnite,
The Blanka outfit will come with two styles: normal Blanka and Blanka Delgado. He also has a built-in Backflip emote. Additionally, players can purchase his Tropical Hazard Kebab pickaxe.
Sakura is also a long-standing character in the franchise. She will come in two styles as well and has the Sakura’s Victory Sway built-in emote.
Players can also purchase her Fighting Tournament Trophy pickaxe and Kayari Buta glider.
Fortnite x Street Fighter Release date

The second tournament will take place on all platforms on April 28. Top placing teams in both tournaments will earn the Bonus Stage Loading Screen.
MK-Seven returns to Fortnite after winning in-game Unvaulting Battle
The MK-Seven was the victor of the first Fortnite Season 2 Unvaulting Battle, and it can be found in-game just as it could in Season 1.
After a short trial period, and an even shorter voting period, the fan-favorite MK-Seven Assault Rifle is back in Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has brought back Funding Stations. Several times throughout the season, players can donate to decide which items and weapons make it back into the game.
However, this season there is a slight twist. Players get to use both weapons during a short trial period before the voting begins. During voting, both weapons are removed once more and the winner returns.
The first round of voting was between the Combat Assault Rifle and the fan-favorite MK-Seven. It didn’t take long for players to decide the victor.
MK-Seven returns in Fortnite Season 2
Voting started on April 5th following a two-day trial period. Players were able to use both the Combat AR and MK-Seven from April 2 – 4.

When voting began, the MK-Seven took an early lead, and it only took until around 8:30 PM EST on April 7 for the race to end. The MK-Seven had won by a landslide.
The moment the goal was met, the MK-Seven was unvaulted and players could find it in-game just as they could in Season 1. The only difference is that the Mythic version is not in Fortnite (yet?).
It is possible that The Foundation could once again carry his Mythic MK-Seven, but that isn’t the case quite yet. We will keep you updated if and when that happens.
Now, we wait for the next Unvautling Battle to begin. Hopefully it will be a more interesting race than the shut out we just witnessed.
Until then, check out where to find the Heavy Sniper in Fortnite Season 2.
