Fortnite players now have the opportunity to hide as a prop in the Moisty Palms Rift Zone and while many will have tried it out already, knowing which items to look out for will be invaluable when looting up at the destination.
The new prop feature allows you to hide in plain sight, swapping your usual character look in the battle royale game for that of an everyday object – such as a lamp, toilet, and much more.
There’s a good chance that you will come across players dressed as these props every time you drop into the area – spanning between both the main Moisty Palms location and the prison which returned in the v10.30 patch.

While not everybody will be a fan of the addition, this is a game that forces its fans to adapt on a regular basis and if you don’t want to be put to the sword every time you have to cross through this Rift Zone, knowing what you’re looking for will certainly give you an upper hand against sneaky opponents.
So, let’s take a look at all of the different props available in Moisty Palms.

It’s fair to say that those who are better at hide-and-seek will prevail with these prop tactics, though. It isn’t always obvious that a player is hidden as something else, but placing an unlikely item in a strange setting – as seen with the lamp above – will be an easy giveaway.
A number of the props are designed to look like other items in the area, though, with trash cans, cacti, and plants scattered all over this point of interest. Players can easily blend in with their surroundings, depending on the prop they want to use.
While you might think its great that an unsuspecting player isn’t going to think you’re there, and grabbing eliminations using this tactic might be great when it is successful, you could easily be the one being tricked.
Hopefully, this guide will make it easier to spot those who are lurking in the shadows and give you a better idea of what to look out for.
