Interesting changes have been made to Dusty Depot right throughout the course of Fortnite Season 10, but an upcoming event might prove to be the most exciting yet.
Epic Games introduced a whole host of map changes with the game’s v10.30 patch, including the return of Greasy Groves and a brand new Moisty Palms Rift Zone, but it’s the changes to Dusty that have seemingly gone under the radar for many players.
Dusty Depot only came back to the battle royale mode at the start of the landmark tenth season and has had a huge impact on the rest of the map by building Rift Beacons there.
However, their next construction could prove to be even more interesting – as a rocket looks to be coming soon.
The clues are stacking up
Major structural changes to the grey bunker at the Depot have taken place, as a huge piece of scaffolding can now be found at the very top – and accessed through some new doors inside.
Previously, the only way to really get on top of these buildings would be dropping from the air or building with materials. Now there’s another way!
As seen in the images, there’s now a hole in the very center of the building, which could soon be occupied.
Season 10 rocket leaks
Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed that the Visitor could be the one behind the design and it’s highly possible that – just like in Season 4 – we see a rocket blast off into the sky once again.
As of the time of writing, there’s only a structure in place and no sign of what’s to come just yet, but that hasn’t stopped leakers from digging deeper into the game files for clues.
Posted to the Fortnite Leaks subreddit on September 11, user PatrickDearden revealed what appears to be the shape of the upcoming rocket. It certainly looks similar to the Season 4 model, too, with perhaps some slight changes.
There’s no way of saying what this event is going to be about at this stage, as it’s clearly just starting up, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for further developments in the near future. So should you!
