The Fortnite Doomsday Event is this weekend, which means that everyone is primed and ready to see what happens when Season 2 comes to a close. The Fortnite v12.61 update brought more details to the game files, where data miners were waiting to tell the world.
There’s a lot to digest in these updates, so let’s jump right into it. Keep in mind that these are spoilers. Stop reading now you want to be completely surprised by the event. You have been warned.
As many fans guessed, the Agency will be a casualty in the Doomsday Event. Data miners found mesh files that pointed to broken walls, and soon found complete renderings of a destroyed Agency in the game files.
This isn’t too much of a surprise to most players. It was assumed that Midas would hit the switch and take The Agency with him. The consensus was that these Mythic POIs wouldn’t make it past Season 2.
Lighting, debris, and more
Obviously, if The Agency is going down, something will have to destroy it. Data miner FortTory provided some of the game files that point to gameplay cues. These cues involve lightning strikes, gravity rocks, energy impacts, and more.
The most interesting line in these files is something called “final teleport,” suggesting we’ll be moving around the map over the course of the event. We may even take a quick trip to the Chapter 1 map, although that’s unlikely and shouldn’t be expected.
Audio files accompany the gameplay. We got a few different audio leaks, including one that shows the countdown to the event. It sounds a lot like the original Rocket Launch, with the addition of some typical nonsense from the Henchmen.
There will, likely, be plenty more leaks where these came from. The update is still a few hours old, and more will come out ahead of the Doomsday Event.
As always, we’ll keep you posted with everything you need to know. Make sure you’re ready for the event on Saturday. We suspect that this will be one that you won’t want to miss.
Fortnitemares 2021: New skins, weapons, and event schedule
Fortnitemares 2021 is finally here to celebrate the Halloween spirit. Players can enjoy new skins, new weapons, and new events.
Fortnitemares 2021 is finally here and it’s jam-packed with new Halloween content. Here are all of the new skins, weapons, and events featured during Fortnitemares 2021.
Each year, Epic Games celebrates Halloween by hosting the in-game Fortnitemares event. As you may have guessed, the event name is a blend of Fortnite and Nightmares. It’s the annual Halloween celebration inside of Fortnite.
This event features some of the best skins to come from Fortnite. These skins are usually timed exclusives meaning they won’t be back until the next Fortnitemares event. And Fortnitemares 2021 is no exception.
There are also new weapons and events during this year’s event. So, while Fortnite Season 8 may not be off to the hottest of starts, the Halloween season is sure to heat things up.
New Fortnitemares Skins
First off, there are a bunch of new skins coming to Fortnite this Halloween. According to one of the Fortnitemares tarot cards, Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead should be making an appearance.
As well, Frankenstein’s Monster, a classic Halloween creature, is coming to the Item Shop. He will be released along with Curdle Scream Leader, a horrifying addition to the Cuddle Team Leader line of skins.
There is also a new Renegade Raider skin that looks similar to Skull Trooper. And even Skull Trooper is getting a new golden variant.
But the biggest skin is scheduled to be released during week 3 of the Fortnitemares event. This is when the Season 8 Battle Pass mystery skin will be revealed.
New Halloween Weapons in Fortnitemares 2021
So far, we only know of one new weapon coming to Fortnite during the Fortnitemares event. The Dual Fiend Crossbows which were shown off in the Season 8 trailer have been released. However, they aren’t that great.
According to streamers like SypherPK, the crossbows feel more like a gimmick. They are meant to be used against the Sideways Monsters and fail to perform in PvP combat. Nonetheless, they are finally in Fortnite.
Weekly Fortnitemares Tarot Card Readings
Not much is happening on the Island yet, but there is still a lot to look forward to. Each week, four different tarot cards will be read which depict what is coming to Fortnitemares next.
There will be four weeks of four cards meaning players can look forward to 16 different tarot card readings. Players can also speculate what each card means as the backs of the cards have hints.
So, Fortnitemares 2021 may not have shrouded the island in purple fog, and players don’t respawn as ghosts. But there are a lot of neat cosmetics coming to Fortnite this Halloween season.

Fortnite Season 7 live event date, time, countdown, and Season 8 Start
There will be a Fortnite live event for the end of Season 7. The start date and time for the event, and for Season 8 have been revealed.
Thanks to a recent leak, we now know when the Fortnite Season 7 live event will take place, and when Season 8 starts.
Fortnite is known for its flashy and exciting live events. Whether they’re at the start of a season or the end of one, these events are a spectacle to behold.
These live events have evolved over time. They started with a live rocket launch in Chapter 1 Season 4. And now, players are taken on immersive trips in front of Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.
However, the most exciting events are the ones focused on the game’s storyline. The events that end seasons are among the most anticipated. And luckily, Season 7 has a Fortnite live event.

This event will be the conclusion to the battle between The IO and the Aliens. However, we don’t know exactly what will happen. However, we can assume it will be big as it is supposed to make major changes to the Season 8 map.
Season 7 live event date and time
Operation Sky Fire will take place at 4 PM EST on September 12, 2021. Players will want to log in to Fortnite at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the event. This will ensure that players are able to reserve their spots.
This event will only take place once, so make sure not to miss it. As well, replays of the event will not be available so make sure you are recording during the event.
What will happen during Season 7 live event?
We don’t know for sure, but we can make educated guesses based on the story leading up to the end. We know that Doctor Slone has placed several explosive devices underneath Corny Complex.
The Mothership is currently abducting Corny Complex. Slone’s plan is to detonate the explosives once they are inside the Mothership. However, the event could go one of two ways.
Either Slone will succeed and the Corny Complex will be fully abducted. Or, the Aliens could realize the explosives are underneath Corny Complex and drop the POI. We will also see how the Zero Point plays into the storyline since it was also abducted.
Fortnite Season 8 start date
Fortnite Season 8 will start sometime on September 13th according to leaker iFireMonkey. Epic Games will take the Fortnite servers offline immediately after the live event. This is for downtime for Season 8.
Downtimes usually last 3 – 4 hours, however, this one seems like it’s going to be a fair bit longer. iFireMonkey tweeted an official email he received from Stream Elements stated Season 8 would start on September 13th. This means that the Downtime for Season 8 will be fairly long.
