The Season 7 Week 2 Legendary Challenges require players to interact with a Dead Drop in Weeping Woods. Here are all of the Fortnite Dead Drop locations.

With every season of Fortnite comes a new Battle Pass filled with rewards for players to unlock. While spending V-Bucks to unlock tiers is the quickest way to complete the Battle Pass, earning XP is the cheapest way. Luckily, there are plenty of weekly challenges that make earning XP a breeze.

Every week a new set of Epic and Legendary challenges are released. These challenges offer a lot of XP in return for completing them, and they make progressing the Battle Pass pretty easy. The challenges require players to use different weapons, visit locations, or interact with NPCs. However, Legendary challenges are only available to be completed for seven days. The first of this week’s Legendary challenges requires players to interact with a Dead Drop.

Fortnite Dead Drop Locations at Weeping Woods

The map provided below shows the locations of all five Dead Drops. These are tree stumps with small trap doors on the top. They are very easily spotted as they have a massive blue aura surrounding them. While there are five Fortnite Dead Drop locations, players only have to visit one to complete the quest.

In order to complete the challenge, all a player has to do is approach one of the Dead Drops and press the action button. Since Weeping Woods isn’t a hot drop, it’s pretty easy to complete this challenge. Even if a large number of players choose to drop at Weeping Woods, the number of Fortnite Dead Drop locations make it possible to complete the quest.

Investigating the Dead Drops will reward the player with 30K experience points which might be enough to bump them up to the next Battle Pass level. Since Season 7 reintroduced Battle Stars, players won’t instantly unlock items when they level up. Instead, they will earn 5 Battle Stars to spend on Battle Pass items. This means that completing each Epic and Legendary challenge might be enough XP to reward players with another 5 Battle Stars.

There is a suspected mole inside of The IO that is leaking info to someone. Dr. Slone needs you to collect access cards, plant wiretaps, and talk with various NPC to find the imposter. Here is how and where players can interact with an IO Operative’s computer.

Another fairly simple quest will have players visiting even more IO outposts. Where IO Guards are located, there are surely some computers nearby that players can interact with. However, players only have to interact with one IO Operative’s computer to get the job done.

There are eight different locations around the map that have these computers. The map below shows every location which includes all of the satellite stations and Corny Complex. These locations are patrolled by IO Guards, so players will want to be careful not to draw attention to themselves.

The computers are pretty easy to find since there are multiple at each location. As well, the computer players can interact with are glowing blue. All a player needs to do is approach the IO Operative’s computer and press the action button.

Players will have to plant 3 different wiretaps on Dr. Slone’s behalf, and the difficult part of the challenge is finding these locations. Since Dr. Slone is having players investigate IO Guards, it makes sense that players will need to visit different IO hotspots.

Luckily for players, there are five different locations and three wiretaps can be placed at each one. This means that players will only need to visit one location to finish the challenge. The locations are as follows:

  • Dinky Dish
  • Dockside Dish
  • Defiant Dish
  • Lazy Lake (Eastern House)
  • <<Redacted>> (Tunnel next to Catty Corner)

The wiretaps appear in-game as small blue glowing boxes. Players just need to approach said boxes and press the action button to place them. All of the boxes are placed relatively close together, so players shouldn’t have a problem completing this task in one round.

Once placed, the challenge will be complete and players will earn a whopping 30k experience points. If a player completes all six weekly challenges, they will earn 165k experience points total. These challenges aren’t very hard making them a quick way to rack up a ton of XP.

This is actually one of the simplest of this week’s Legendary Challenges. IO Guards can be found at numerous locations around the map, and they drop access cards when eliminated. IO Guards appear at every satellite dish, Corny Complex, and even The Aftermath.

The cards are dropped just like vault keys back in Chapter 2 Season 2. When eliminated, IO Guards will drop their weapons and an access card. All a player has to do is pick it up and the challenge will be completed. Luckily, players don’t have to use the cards in any way.

Once collected, the challenge will be complete and players will earn a whopping 45k experience points. If a player completes all six weekly challenges, they will earn 165k experience points total. These challenges aren’t very hard making them a quick way to rack up a ton of XP.
