The god of mischief is coming to Fortnite at the beginning of July! Here is what Epic Games teased for the July Fortnite Crew pack.
The Fortnite Crew pack is a monthly subscription service that gives players an exclusive skin as well as offers other bonus rewards. These rewards can be weapon wraps, free/discounted trial subscriptions, and access to Fortnite’s Save The World mode. Players are also given instant access to the current season’s Battle Pass and 1,000 V-Bucks every month.
The Fortnite Crew pack subscription costs $11.99 USD a month. The contents of the Crew Pack have increased in value as time has passed making the rewards well worth the entry fee. As well, exclusive licensed characters like in the January and July Fortnite Crew pack make the service a must have.
Loki in the July Crew Pack
The official Fortnite Twitter posted a teaser for the July Fortnite Crew pack. This teaser referenced one of the loading screens from the June Crew Pack. When Mecha Cuddle Master arrived through the portal to get back to The Island, a silhouette of Loki could be seen in the background. The teaser posted today stated Loki had also snuck his way through the portal.
The post was also accompanied by a teaser image that sported both the Fortnite and Marvel Avengers logos. Behind the text were two curved golden horns that belong to Loki’s iconic helmet. The teaser post can be seen below.
It makes sense that Loki would be the next Marvel character to make his way into Fortnite. Loki is currently being featured in his own Disney+ original series. Marvel and Epic Games have made it obvious that they have a close partnership, and what better way to advertise a new show than to add the main character into one of the world’s most popular video games.
As of right now, the rest of the contents for the July Fortnite Crew Pack haven’t been revealed. Loki will likely have his own pickaxe and back bling, and players will still be given 1,000 V-Bucks. However, any special offers or bonus items will be revealed at a later date.
How to get the Bloodsport skin in Fortnite
Here’s how to get the Bloodsport Fortnite skin. Idris Elba’s character from The Suicide Squad is making his way to The Island very soon.
A deadly member of the Suicide Squad is coming, and here is how you can get the Bloodsport Fortnite skin.
Another crossover character is making its way into Fortnite as a promotion for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. While players may be more familiar with Deadshot, who was played by Will Smith in the Suicide Squad (2016), Bloodsport fills the same role in the upcoming film.
Epic Games teamed up with DC to give a preview of the skin before its release. Idris Elba, who plays Bloodsport in the film, appeared in the trailer to introduce his character. The Bloodsport Fortnite skin is an identical copy of the character that appears in the film.
How to get Bloodsport skin
Players won’t be able to get the Bloodsport Fortnite skin until August 3rd. Epic Games has announced that this is when the skin will release in the Item Shop. The store will reset at 8 p.m. EST, and the skin will likely stay in the shop for a few days.
We don’t know the specifics of how much Bloodsport will cost, but we can assume he will be around 1,500 V-Bucks. The trailer also shows him wielding a pickaxe and wearing a Back Bling that is a part of his set. These might be also be sold as a bundle for around 2,200 V-Bucks.
So the only way to obtain the Bloodsport Fortnite skin is by purchasing him using V-Bucks. Fortnite hasn’t announced any special tournaments that reward top-placing players with the skin. It’s safe to assume that they won’t be holding one this time around.
As for The Suicide Squad, the film releases in theaters on August 6th. This means players can get a taste of the action three days before the movie’s release. Teaming up with Harley Quinn will make players feel as if they’re in the film. Stay tuned as more information regarding the Bloodsport skin is released.
August 2021 Fortnite Crew Pack includes fan-made skin
The August Fortnite Crew Pack features a fan-made skin by designer Nollobandz that references other community-made skins.
The August Fortnite Crew Pack has been revealed, and a fan-made concept is this month’s exclusive skin.
Fortnite Crew is a monthly subscription service that offers an exclusive skin that can’t be obtained anywhere else. As well as cosmetics, Epic Games often throws in a few other goodies. Free subscriptions to other services and access to the Save The World game mode have been part of the Crew Pack in the past.
However, the big-ticket items are exclusive cosmetics. Players have one month to subscribe before the skins, Back Blings, and pickaxes are gone forever. While some skins are a bit lackluster, the August Fortnite Crew Pack is one you won’t want to miss.
August Crew Pack features fan-made skin
The August Fortnite Crew pack skin is named Summer Skye, but it’s more than just a Sky variant. Summer Sky was designed by concept artist Nollobandz who has designed a couple of other skins that have made it into Fortnite.
Dark Rex, Lyra, and Eco are all skins that Nollobandz designed. They are one of many creators who have had their concepts become a reality. Summer Skye is an homage to all of the fan-made skins that have made it into Fortnite so far.
Summer Skye’s outfit is made up of different parts of other fan-made skins. Fortnite hints at this in its reveal tweet by listing all of the skins it references.
Summer Skye is coming to Fortnite on August 1 as a part of the August Fortnite Crew Pack. The skin comes with four styles, a Back Bling, one-handed pickaxe, and two wraps. When unequipped, the sword pickaxe will be sheathed in the Back Bling.
As well, the Fortnite Crew Pack will include 1,000 V-Bucks and season-long access to the Battle Pass. The subscription costs $11.99 USD.
